Danielle pulled the sheets on her naked, hurt body, covered with bruises from head to toes. She was in so much pain, but crying wasn’t an option. She knew it well. Jordan hated when she was behaving like a little girl and not like a full-ass-grown woman.
The moment he entered her apartment, Jordan just exploded in an enraged tone.
‘That old bitch just fired me!’
She just looked at him and started yelling.
‘No way! How could you have been so stupid to get fired by Marie Grayson? I’m so angry right now! One of my desires was to transform her damned foundation into ashes. Why am I always surrounded by idiots incapable to follow a simple plan?’

Heavy silence wrapped every corner of the car. Isabelle was staring blankly outside the window at the road that was opening in front of them. She was keeping a protective hand on her belly like she was afraid that someone was going to harm their baby girl. The light at the entrance didn’t turn on and so as not to stumble, Isabelle took Shawn's hand.“Tomorrow I will fix this damn light,” Shawn said opening the entrance door. “Wait here until I will turn on the light inside.
