"MOTHER DEAR, please take care of yourself, okay?" Maylene said with a teary eyed while looking at Amalia. "But, are you really sure that you wouldn't want me to come with you?"

Amalia shook her head on Maylene. They are now at the bus terminal and Amalia is now bidding her goodbye but Maylene is holding the hem of her shirt like a kid. They are getting the attention of some people in the terminal already because Maylene would even stomped her feet on the ground.

"Maylene, I told you, I would still go back. And don't worry, once I came back, you'll be with my daughter, Amara and that's a promise, hmm?" she said with her most gentle voice, hoping that it would make Maylene calm.

"P-Promise, Mother Dear?" Maylene's voice is trembling. "I miss Amara so much! But, make sure you go back here, huh? You know that you're the only family I got after..." She wasn't able to continue what she's saying and Amalia understand why.

Amalia caressed her cheek and wiped her tears.
