Kora chuckled, “You are a sweet girl, Abby,” she said as she brought the teacup up to her pink lips.
“Hm?” I raised my eyebrows in question.
“You wish to make Damien see Heaven,” she responded with a smile, “You truly do have angel blood.”
The words ‘angel blood’ reminded me of my mother and how we are in this whole mess because of her. She said that it was the angel's duty to put the souls on a better path in life so that they are granted an afterlife in Heaven.
Now that I was a demon and living in the underworld, it was confusing to me that I still wanted to do that. How many demons here are like that? How many demons want people to stop showing up here?
