DOMINIC'S POV

Amnesia? You would think so, because everyone thinks about the accident and perhaps how I must have bumped my head that would certainly cause my supposed memory loss.

I had you all fooled and I really would have a rethink of career after all of this. Perhaps even, I might get plastic surgery to change my identity and go into acting which is beginning to look like my true calling. Who knows. I might be nominated for the Oscars next season.

I had opened my eyes after spending a lot of time in the vain darkness and void where I could not make things out. It was the sound of beeping of the monitors that got me and I slowly opened my eyes only to realize that I was at the hospital. I could also hear that steady sound of the drip attached to my hand and then more beeping. I thought perhaps, the doctors had me under protection and then started groaning in pain. I realized that I was in bandages as well and when I made those groaning sounds, my voice sounded unused and foreign.
