Finding Out

They arrived at the restaurant, and while they were being seated, Clara looked around the Restaurant and caught a glimpse of a couple sitting at a nearby table. It was Larisa and Marcellus.

Clara's heart sank as her eyes fell upon the last people she wanted to see together - Larisa and Marcellus. Clara felt a sudden surge of anger and hurt.

"Let's go, Amelia," Clara said through gritted teeth, clenching her fists.

Amelia looked at her friend, concern etched on her face. "Why Clara?"

" I don't like this place" Clara replied. Amelia nodded and they stood up.

As Clara and Amelia were walking towards the exit, Amelia noticed that Clara's face was red with anger.

"Clara, what's wrong?" Amelia asked, concerned.

"Did you see who was sitting at that table?" Clara replied, pointing towards Larisa and Marcellus.
