The CEO has another company?

Even without looking back I know who that voice belonged to. Alex whites called out to me as she approached the about-Leaving bus,

“Sorry, you won’t be attending the retreat with the rest of us.”

I stood there looking at her lips as they move, I was no longer listening to what she was saying, I should go pack my stuffs “ Don’t keep her waiting for long”

Now where did I stop?

I blinked Multiple times, as if that will make Alex whites repeat all she had said when I stopped a listening, she wasn’t saying anything, she stood and stared daggers at me before handing the files she was holding to me “ don’t bother going through them, just go give it to her” she said before turning on her heels.

It’s all making sense to me now, I’ve been fired, and black listed from attending the retreat, now I’m on my way to get the final blow of it.
