A broad smile appeared on Anna's face as the wind blew against her face, sweeping tendrils of her hair into her face. The wind was slightly chilly and Kraktos body felt warm against her skin as he sprinted through the forest, she clung onto him a little tighter enjoying the warmth of his furred body and subconsciously finding comfort from his scent. As exciting as the ride was, she couldn't see much, the forest floor through which they ran was dark, and the vegetation was sparse with large canopies of trees hanging over their heads making it even darker under the moonless sky, giving one the illusion of things lurking in the dark. Anna opened her eyes a few hours later, the day was bright and the sun was up in the sky, she sighed with lack of interest and sat up on her bed, just as she did, she heard a knock on her door and looked up.
