CHAPTER 76: MARKED

Myron stopped in his tracks, looked up at the blue sky over him, then bent his head and sniffed the floor continuously for the scent of the men he sought. It had been three days since he left the pack and had gone in search of Anna alone in his wolf form.

He had neither rested nor slept and had constantly been on the run, had been hungry, and had been ambushed by rogues but he didn’t give up. He couldn’t give up until he found Anna and brought her back home safe and sound; and he could say he had been making progress, so far he found the hidden place where these men had stayed outside the pack before they moved and he had followed them closely with the residual scent they left behind, which had been the major cause for his delay apart from the various ambush.
