DON ALEXANDRO

I scoffed, masking the fear clawing at my insides like what she had just said didn’t hit me.

It did. But I don't trust Francesca anymore, not after what she did to me… and to our daughter.

"You don’t trust me, do you?" she asked.

I let out a dry, sarcastic laugh, the kind that came from a place deep in my gut. Did she really just ask that?

"What’s so funny?" Her eyes searched mine, clearly confused.

I laughed harder, clutching my stomach until it drew tears from my eyes.

"Answer me, Alexandro!" she snapped, her voice rising with frustration.

"You didn’t hear how stupid that sounded?" I sneered, my laughter dying off. "Trust you? Was that a joke?"

"It’s not a joke. I’m telling the truth, honey—"

That word. Honey. Rage flared inside me like wildfire.

I charged at her, grabbing her mouth with one hand, firm enough that her lips pressed together. My face hovered inches from hers, our eyes locked in a silent war.

"Listen, call me that filthy name again, and I swear I’ll rip t

CAMILLA RYDERI knew Liam too well. Calling him over to the hotel was bound to cause trouble, but I didn’t quite expect he’d try to kill Lorenzo. Still… he caused exactly the kind of chaos I wanted.Such an idiot. He thought he could humiliate me, take what belonged to me, and walk away? No.... I’d give him a taste of that same ridicule and shame he gave me. And my reward? It's my company. Just one more step… One last step and everything I lost will be mine again.Lorenzo had barely gone into surgery for more than fifteen minutes when an unknown number popped up on my phone.I picked it up. There was a silence that seemed like forever, and I don’t know how. I don’t know why, but something in me just knew, it was Vincenzo. And the moment I heard his voice, that was it. My heart exploded in my chest, I could barely breathe. All reasoning left me. I felt my lips tremble slightly.I didn’t even wait after the call. I left Lorenzo right there in the operation room, jumped in my car and spe

VINCENZO CASTILLOThe door creaked open slowly, the kind of eerie sound that belonged in a haunted house. But what followed was worse: moans and screams, loud and wild, loud music booming, like someone was having the best night of their damn life just beneath me.Since the last heated encounter with Celestino, I hadn’t seen a glimpse of him. Not even Caterina. Her face became scarce. And Isabella? She’d gone mute again. She wouldn't even smile, or even make any eye contact. I tried. God knows I tried to pull even a flinch out of her, but she looked through me like I didn’t exist. But, I couldn't even blame her, it was for her safety. Now here I was again, back to square one, tied up like a prisoner, my wrists biting against the cold metal, back in the same cursed bed.Shoes clicked against the marble floor. Isabella walked in, this time, not with her usual tray of bandages. Or any tenderness in her eyes. Just her, with two men built like tanks stomping in behind her.She didn’t say a w

LIAM RYDER"Don’t just stand there, do something, Liam!" Karen yelled, her voice sharper and louder, slicing through the room like broken glass. That’s when I noticed the broken bottle in my hand, sticky with blood, my hands trembling slightly.Sh*t.I flung it to the ground like it wasn’t me who had just cracked someone’s skull with it.I rushed over to the bed and grabbed Lorenzo’s lifeless body from her arms. Her bare skin was smeared with blood, her hands shaking.Tears streamed down her cheeks as she held my gaze."What the f*ck are you going to do now, huh? Say something!" She screamed.I scoffed, letting Lorenzo’s body drop to the floor with a dull thud, like he was nothing but dead weight, which I'm afraid he might actually be."What do you mean, what do I do? Are you kidding me, Karen?"Her eyes widened. She snatched her clothes off the bed and started pulling them on with shaky hands. I just stood, watching, as though it was an horror playing before me."What was I supposed

LIAM RYDERI killed the engine, but I didn't move out of the car, yet. A sigh escaped my mouth while my hands still rested on the wheel, the weight of tomorrow's meeting with the so-called investor pressing on my chest like a stone.Just as I opened the door, my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was Giulia again.I stared at the screen for a brief second, wondering why she was calling again. She'd called last night, randomly, but the line had gone dead by the time I called back. Now, here she was, calling again, same late hour.I debated for a moment. Finally, I picked it up. Her voice came out smooth and calm from the other end.“Hello, Liam.”I checked the screen again. I just wanted to be sure it was really her. And, yep, it was Giulia. She'd never called me by name like that. Not unless it was formal or businesslike. But, now? She said it like we shared something.“What is it you want?” I asked flatly. There was a short silence before she replied, her breath shaky.“Lorenz,” she said,

LORENZO VINCENTThe moment I pulled into the parking lot, guilt settled on me. It was like it was staring me in the face, bashing me for lying to Giulia, and the worst part? And for ending up here.I stared at my wristwatch, clenching my teeth hard.“It’s just for a minute,” I muttered to myself. As if that was going to shut up what my brain screamed at me:That’s a d*mn lie, Ren.I stepped out of the car and shoved on my glasses, just in case anyone decided to recognize me tonight. The hotel doors slid open as I walked in. The attendant greeted me with a brief smile... one of those smiles that made it feel like she’d been expecting me.The thought hit me again. Should I just turn back? What the hell is even wrong with me?“Hello, sir,” she said softly. “Would you like to book a room, or are you here for a visit?” Her voice was warm and gentle.I forced a smile, gave a small nod. “Yeah. A visit.”“Okay. What room?” she asked, already tapping on the mini tablet in front of her.“Room 30

  • HER ROYAL MAFIA   RIGHT BACK TO THE MESS

LORENZO VINCENTThe moment I stared into her eyes, I couldn’t think straight anymore. The evidence was real, she was definitely hiding something. But damn, just when I thought I could finally get the truth, my heart kicked up with a storm of questions. Was I the one overthinking things? Or was she really hiding something from me?Her memory, of course, is still a little fuzzy. I’m happy she remembers me, and she just suddenly flipped into a different version of herself. I wanted it to last… to remain that way.But fu*k, the old me can’t take the fact that I’m being played. My eyes glared at her like I could hurt her, but deep down, I couldn’t even lay a finger on her, not even a single strand of her damp hair.“Call her now!” I said, still pushing for answers. If I didn’t convince myself now, I’d keep living with this doubt inside me.She hesitated, then slowly dialed the last contact. It didn’t take a second before the customer care line spoke:“The number you are calling is not reac
