“We’ll take a turn and that would lend us to a place that was once the border of the salmon pack. There were once wolves there I was told. Which protects the border but not anymore after the war.”

“So we can go in successfully without being interrupted by the wolf.”

He nods.

“And that’s if we didn’t see any wolf before we reach the border, I’m sure they would be somewhere hiding.”

“Probably,” I said. Because I could sense a wolf our way. Coming to us or going it's the way. I wasn’t sure. But one thing was sure a wolf was coming. I was gonna let him handle it. I don’t wanna have things messed up. He could handle the wolf and I would just watch and intervene when he was dying. Or maybe not at all.

What if I run away. I already had a clue where the alpha would be. But I wasn’t the type to run away when there was a fight between wolves I couldn’t do that. I couldn’t run away if I wanted to.
