Trinity’s POV

The knock on the door that interrupted us was such a disappointment.

I wanted to know how far I could go. What their elastic limit was and what lay there when I reached it. I sighed and looked at them.

“Well, that’s a bummer. I was really enjoying that.” I smirked and raised my brow. My expression was sheepish, like a little girl who just outsmarted an old man into giving her chocolates. “If this is your idea of punishment, then puh-lease! Give it to me every day.”

I twirled around as I spoke, and when I stopped, I almost fell, but my back collided with the solid warmth of Xerxes' chest, the impact sending a shiver through me.

His hands found my arms immediately, fingers wrapping gently around them to steady me, his touch both protective and tender.

I could feel his breath against my hair, the quiet strength in his grip as he held me close, grounding me against the storm of emotions swirling inside. His presence anchored me completely.

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 115 – A warm welcome

Trinity's POVThe time we were meant to spend at the Shadow Ridge Pack was over, and now we were headed back home. The familiar sight of Vale Pack's territory should have been comforting, but as our convoy of vehicles rolled through the gates, I still felt that familiar unease settling in my stomach like a stone. But as our car pulled up to the main palace, I felt my spirits lift considerably when I spotted a familiar figure waiting on the front steps.Xander.Even from a distance, I could see his trademark lopsided grin and the way he was casually leaning against one of the marble columns like he owned the place. The sight of him was like a breath of fresh air."Well, well, well," he called out as I climbed out of the car, his voice carrying that familiar note of playful sarcasm that I'd missed more than I cared to admit. "Look what the cats dragged in. And here I thought you'd finally come to your senses and run away to join a nice, peaceful circus or something."I couldn't help b

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 114 – Unpredictable Alliance

Alpha Caelum's POVI chuckled at her words, a low, rumbling sound that seemed to echo off the stone walls of my study. The sound caused her to furrow her brows in confusion, and all I did was savor the moment. I loved that even with all her power, her political might, and her practiced royal elegance, she was still wary around me. Good. She should be.I was as unpredictable and cunning as a fox, and she couldn't tell what was coming next. That uncertainty was exactly where I wanted to keep her—off balance, dependent on me, but never quite sure if I was friend or foe. It was a delicate dance; one I'd perfected over decades of political maneuvering."Relax, Luna," I said, my voice carrying that deceptively calm tone that had lulled many enemies into false security before I struck. "Go back to your husband in your room. You look tired."But Mira wasn't ready to let this go, her frustration was still simmering beneath her composed exterior. "I still don't see the need to gain that wolf

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 113 – Let Her Die

Alpha Caelum's POVLuna Mira's voice cut through the evening air like a blade, sharp and venomous as she paced before me in my private study. Her regal midnight blue gown swept the floor with each agitated step, the silver embroidery catching the lamplight as she gestured wildly with her hands."You should have just let her die!" she hissed, her perfectly composed mask finally slipping to reveal the ugly hatred beneath. "All you had to do was nothing, Caelum. Nothing! And that wolfless little parasite would have been out of our lives forever."I took in her elaborate attire—the expensive silk, the intricate beadwork, the way she held herself like royalty even in her fury. I couldn't help but laugh inwardly at the irony. Here she was, draped in all the trappings of nobility and grace, yet she was even more evil than I was. To think that she was going through all this trouble, orchestrating elaborate schemes and forming dangerous alliances, all to get rid of one supposedly powerless

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 112 – She Tastes Heaven

Liam's POVI could see the desire flickering in Trinity's eyes like flame catching kindling. Her pupils dilated with want as her gaze traced my face, and her lips parted slightly with an unspoken longing that burned bright. It was the way she looked at me without shying away from how she felt. It made me want to give her the world. I hadn’t responded to her, because I was still analyzing the situation, and trying to make sure I was thinking with my head, and not my dick. The residual sexual frustration she was battling with earlier was also propelling her further towards her desire. My dick hardened instantly, as the image popped in my head. It was so hot, and it felt like desire itself had embraced me, its touch hot and cold. I swallowed, feeling myself sweat despite the air conditioning, and at the same time yearn for her heat. The way her eyes closed with ecstasy when Nasir did his thing with her, and when she tilted her head to give me a better access to her neck. Urghh. So f

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 111 – All Alone

Liam's POVI felt my jaw clench at the mention of Caelum's name. I didn’t believe he had just upped and changed his ways all of a sudden. Yet here he was, thoughtfully sending his oldest healer to check on Trinity while we'd been too consumed with our own desires to remember she might be injured.Trinity wrapped her arms around herself, suddenly seeming smaller and more vulnerable than she had moments before when we'd been establishing our dominance. "I'm fine, really. Just a few scratches.""Nonsense, dear," Helen said, stepping into the room with her medical bag, her movements were efficient. "You were in combat with rogues. Even the smallest wound can become infected if not properly treated." Her voice carried the authority of someone who'd spent decades treating injured wolves, and I found myself grateful for Alpha Caelum's foresight, even if I didn't trust his motives.Nasir moved to stand beside Trinity, his protective instincts clearly warring with the dominant energy that had

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter 110 – Get the Memo

Xerxes' POVThe moment I saw Amara standing in the doorway, every ounce of desire I'd felt seconds before evaporated completely. My body went from burning with need to cold indifference in an instant. The shift was so jarring that I had to force myself not to grimace at the timing."How does that concern you?" Nasir asked, voicing my thoughts. His voice carried that particular type of boredom he reserved for people who annoyed him beyond measure. I could practically feel his eye roll without even looking at him.But Amara, true to her insufferable nature, completely ignored him and turned her attention directly to me. Her dark eyes held that familiar combination of entitlement and desperation that had grown more pronounced over the years."Why are you jeopardizing your future with me for this... thing?" The word dripped from her lips like poison, and the way her gaze slid over Trinity with such obvious disdain made Daemon snarl beneath my skin. The sheer audacity of this woman ne
