Parting Ways

Things were back to normal or as normal as they could be for lee. Aside from the awkwardness that seems to hang between her and Alex, everything else was alright. Her sister Hanna was back with her. The bond between Rose and her had grown despite the big disparity that widened the gap between Alex and herself.

Even though things were back to how they should have been from the beginning, there were new and interesting things that have been happening around the office. Every morning, Lavender would receive a flower and chocolates from the receptionist on the ground floor. On the weekends, the parcels were delivered to her door.

At first, she aids no heed to them but as time passed by, the gifts kept coming in. It reached a point where she got suspicious of the ender and started investigating the source. She was shocked to find out that the man who has been sending her gifts was the business rival of her boss.

it was then that she had an epiphany.
