I have never been so deprived and sexually frustrated in my life. At this point, I would like to say Mr De Vito was just wicked and trying to punish me for all the times I seduced him. Because really, why the hell was he depriving me of what I wanted?

It was like dangling a steak in front of a starving lion and then walking away. Cruel, deliberate, wicked.

I couldn't help but scoff as my thoughts drifted—unfortunately—to my ex-boyfriend Liam. Bland Liam. Vanilla Liam. The most boring man in bed to ever walk the face of the earth. Not that I had much experience before him, but still. The fact that he was the only man to ever touch me before Mr De Vito made me cringe. It made me wonder why I gave so much to a man who barely knew what to do with my body.

I shook my head, pushing the thought of Liam to the back of my mind like an unwanted email I refused to open. I turned back to my computer screen and stared at the documents piled up in my inbox. Great. More work.

Mr De Vito wasn’t i

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 258- The Maldives

The moment the jet touched down on the private strip in the Maldives, my chest ached with disbelief. I had seen pictures online, glossy postcards of endless turquoise water and white sand that looked too perfect to exist in reality. But now, stepping down the stairs of the jet with Lorenzo’s hand steadying me, I realized the truth: none of those images compared. The air was warm, salted with the scent of the ocean, and the horizon stretched endlessly in shades of blue that melted into each other like paintbrush strokes. Palm trees swayed lazily in the breeze, their fronds whispering secrets of paradise.Lorenzo’s palm pressed low against my back, guiding me toward the sleek boat waiting for us. His sunglasses masked his eyes, but I didn’t need to see them to know he was watching me, gauging every reaction, soaking in the awe that left me nearly speechless.“This…” My voice cracked, too small against the vastness before me. “This doesn’t feel real.”His lips twitched, almost a smile, b

The suitcases were already zipped shut, lined up neatly by the bedroom. Lorenzo was handling some matters before we leave, issuing instructions in that calm, commanding tone that made people scramble without question. I sat on the edge of the bed, tying the straps of my heels, watching him out of the corner of my eye as he spoke quietly into his phone, his jaw sharp, his expression unreadable.Maldives.The word pulsed in my head like a heartbeat. I still couldn’t believe it. A trip, a promise ring, a birthday I never could’ve dreamed of—and him. Always him.The driver loaded our bags into the car waiting in the driveway. Lorenzo took my hand and led me downstairs, his palm steady, firm, like even gravity obeyed him. He opened the door for me first, as always, helping me inside before slipping in beside me.As the car pulled away, I leaned against the window, my gaze idly following the blur of trees and the grand lines of the estate. That’s when I saw her.Amanda.She was standing at

I jolted awake with a gasp, the sound clawing its way up my throat like I had been drowning. My chest heaved, my skin damp with sweat, my pulse hammering so violently that for a second, I thought it might tear free from my ribs. The image of blood drops falling from the ceiling clung to the edges of my mind, stubborn and suffocating. But when my eyes snapped open, there was no dripping. No red line crawling its way down the wall. No nightmare made flesh. There was only Lorenzo. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, angled toward me, his elbows on his thighs, his fingers loosely laced together. His eyes—dark, fathomless, steady—were trained on me like he had been watching me for hours. And maybe he had, knowing him.My breath caught, softer this time, as I whispered, “Lorenzo?”The muscles in his jaw ticked, but his voice was calm, almost gentle. “What’s wrong?”I forced a shaky laugh, rubbing my hand across my face, trying to banish the remnants of the nightmare clinging like cobwebs

Lorenzo’s bloodied hand trembled in mine, his skin warm, slick with crimson, but all I could think about was holding him together. Holding us together. His outburst, the violence, the wall shattered by his fist—it had shaken me to my core, but right now, all I could see was the man beneath the rage. The man who had been hurt, broken, twisted by a past he never asked for. And still, somehow, he was mine. I tightened my grip on his wrist and whispered, “Come sit down. Let me bandage this.” For once, he didn’t argue. He didn’t resist. He just gave me a tired nod, his jaw still tight, and moved to sit on the edge of the bed. His shoulders slumped, his body rigid, but his eyes never left me as I rushed to the cabinet, pulling out the first aid box. My heart hammered in my chest as I knelt in front of him, placing the box on the carpet. The sight of his knuckles made me wince—split open, raw, bloodied. It hurt to look at, as though the pain was mine. My stomach twisted with guilt and lov

My breath snagged in my throat, my body frozen, Lorenzo’s cock still heavy and hard in my hand. For a fraction of a second, the world tilted—silence so sharp it roared in my ears. Before I could even comprehend who it was, a blur of movement charged straight at me.“Get away from my husband!”The voice was shrill, guttural, full of venom. And then I knew.Amanda.My stomach dropped. My eyes widened. But I had no time to move, no time to think. Her hands slammed into my shoulders with brutal force, sending me sprawling onto the cold floor, the sting radiating down my spine.I gasped, the air knocked from my lungs.Lorenzo shot to his feet instantly, fury snapping across his features, but Amanda was already on me again, her nails clawing, her eyes wild.“You whore!” she screamed, spittle flying as her face contorted. “You’re sleeping with my husband! My husband!”Her voice cracked into madness, into pain, into something feral.I scrambled backward, yanking the blanket from the bed and w

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 253- Give Me a Show

The sun was high by the time I arrived at the site, its warmth spilling across the unfinished walls of the hotel. The steel framework that had once looked like nothing more than a skeletal dream was now transformed—solid walls standing proud, glass gleaming in places where sunlight caught, the faint smell of fresh paint and polished wood filling the air.I exhaled, my chest swelling with something I hadn’t felt in days. Pride. Excitement. Relief. It was finally coming together.Walking across the marble-floored lobby, I trailed my fingertips along the cool stone of the walls, imagining how the chandeliers would catch the light, how the guests would stop and stare in awe. It was mine—every inch of it bore my fingerprints, my sleepless nights, my sacrifices. And I needed that today.I needed to bury myself in this, to let the chaos at home—Amanda, her return, Lorenzo’s tight jaw and haunted eyes—slip away. Here, I wasn’t the woman caught in the middle of a storm. Here, I was Emily. A wo
