Chapter seven

I couldn’t move for a moment, so I just kept staring at him, hoping the whole thing was a joke and that he really didn’t mean it. Remaining in his arms for a few more seconds of awkward silence, I realized he wasn’t kidding.

“What?!” I gasped, and he nodded, that devilish smirk that highlighted his perfectly sculpted face not leaving his face.

“You’re not going to do it? You’re not going to kiss me?” He asked me, and I tried to get out of his arms as he put his other hand around me.

“No way! I’m not going to kiss you, not here, not in front of the guards, and especially not in front of my little sister.” I told him, still trying to get out of his hands, but then he wrapped them even more around me.

“So, you’d prefer to kiss me…. French style, in private?” He asked me, and I was more confused than anything.

What was wrong with this man? “I’m not going to kiss you. Not here, not in public, and not even in private. Disgusting.” I told him, and I decided to give escaping him one more chanc
