"Isn’t that your manager inside your house Lara? So you were his sugar baby all along and you lie to me that he was just like your father" I said coldly.

"Wwwhat? What are you talking about? Are

I just turn back and bring out the gifts I bought for her and i dropped it in the ground and she wept so hard and she comes closer to me and I just gave a painful smile and enters into my car

and my convoy zoomed off and I thought

of how bad the day have been and I concluded.

"Women cannot be trusted" I sald out loud.

"To my parents Mansion" l ordered my driver.

"yes sir" My driver replied.

My heart was heavy throughout the ride.

"What a bad day" I said to myself and relax my back on the seat and sigh, I began to think back to how I have been that good guy to Lara, our promises of forever to each other.

Fifty minutes later my drivers drove into my

parents mansion and the cars pull up and I got out of the car, I entered into my parents living room and l could hear my mom still lamenting about me refusing to marry Shade not because she loves her but because of that ambition, she had always wanted to be a First Lady but she my Dad never won and she was the one that came up with an idea that I should be replace with them that the people might prefers young person which really work and l must say I have at least most of the youth behind me and I my mom is so optimistic that I am going to win and even I myself, I am at least eighty percent sure that I am one of the youth candidate choice.

I entered and my mom stares at me angrily.

forfeit it because you cannot marry a maid,

To be candid, she had a valid point even though that was never my reason for coming back to agree to marrying Shade, I just want to hurt Lara the same way she hurt me,she hurt me so bad that what I saw

By the time I returned to my parents the party members has left.

have thought about it to marry Shade , I will marry Shade" I said to my mom .

Shade? My mom asked again and I nod my head, she come to me and she embraces me happily , she breaks the embrace and she whispers.

"so when do you plan announcing your engagement? But that girl need serious blending, she needs to be train on so many things, we would get her an etiquette teacher" she says.

"Listen son, I know she is not your choice but we need to win this gubernatorial race at all cost and after you win you can all get any woman if your choice after divorcing her"

she says and embrace me then I heard my

father already calling the party chairman and telling the party chairman that I have agreed.
