Chapter LIV

Sander and Erik came back to the castle, their arms and legs were still shaking from their fear of the thieves, also the excitement and joy from the kiss they shared. 

They bathed and had dinner together. Sander asked the chef to cook all Erik's favorite dishes. He wanted to forget all the past events and concentrate more on the new present. After their kiss, Sander had a very strange feeling. A feeling, he had not felt for years—happiness. 

"Your Highness," Jeremy interrupted their quiet moment, then he stared at Erik shyly and gave him an envelope, "A letter from Virtus." 

Erik wasn't angry with him anymore. He knew he was also a victim of Kyle, he fell in his trap the same way he did. He smiled at him, "Thank you Jeremy." he said. 

The secretary's eyes shone with happiness as he was relieved that Erik was alright with him now. He smiled back to him and excused himself to leave them alone. 

"Is it from your father?" Sander ask
