Shadows of Zephyr

The night after the blood oath was heavy with silence. Not even the wolves dared to howl.

Elena sat in her chamber, staring at the flickering candle on her bedside table. The wax dripped slowly, tracing the hours she’d spent waiting — waiting for Damien to wake, waiting for answers that refused to come.

But the worst part wasn’t the waiting. It was the way the shadows seemed to breathe.

Every time the flame bent, it looked like something was moving behind her. Watching.

She pressed a trembling hand to her chest, feeling the faint pulse of her mark — hot and restless. Since the ritual, it hadn’t stopped burning. She could feel Damien somewhere in the packhouse, but his energy felt… wrong. Twisted.

He’d looked at her earlier, eyes cold and distant. Not the man she’d fought, loved, and defied. Something else had looked through him — something ancient and cruel.

Her throat tightened. What have you done, Damien?

A soft wind brushed against her cheek, though her window was

The Wolf’s Defense The great hall was packed, every eye fixed on Elena as she stood in the center of the stone circle. The murmurs swirled like a restless storm, whispers of betrayal and suspicion weaving through the gathered pack. The weight of their judgment pressed down on her, cold and unyielding. She could feel the thick gaze of the elders, the sharp scrutiny of the council, and the barely concealed hostility of those who once called her an ally.Elena’s hands trembled slightly, but she forced herself to stand tall. The trial was not just about her—it was about the twins inside her, about their survival. She couldn’t afford to falter now.Damien stood at the forefront, his golden eyes blazing with a mix of anger and disappointment. His voice, when he spoke, echoed through the hall with ruthless clarity.“She has betrayed the pack,” he declared, voice heavy with accusation. “She hides secrets—secrets that threaten all we stand for.”A ripple of murmurs passed through the crowd

The TrialThey dragged Elena from her room before dawn.Cold hands. Hard grips. No explanations.“Don’t resist,” one guard hissed. “The Alpha commanded it.”Her feet barely touched the ground as they pulled her through the hallways of the Stone Keep. Torches flickered along the walls; shadows twisted around her like living things. The entire fortress seemed to pulse with tension — the pack already awake, already waiting.Damien had summoned the trial. Her trial. For “betrayal.”The word burned in her chest. Betrayal? She had hidden her pregnancy to protect the twins… and him. But the pack didn’t know. They only saw what they wanted — weakness, secrets, scandals, Zephyr’s presence. The guards shoved her into the council chamber. A gasp rippled through the gathered wolves. Her sister, the healers, warriors, elders — all there. And Damien, seated on the Alpha throne above them all.His expression was unreadable. His aura pressed down on her like iron. He didn’t look angry now. He looked

Luna’s Courage The night screamed with thunder.Lightning tore across the sky as if the heavens themselves were bearing witness to the coming carnage.Elena ran.Barefoot, cloak clinging to her soaked skin, she stumbled down the slick path that led into the forest. The scent of wet earth, blood, and burning rage filled the air.Her wolf thrashed inside her chest, torn between fear and something older—primal.“Damien, please…” she whispered, voice trembling as another flash of lightning illuminated the trees. In that fleeting burst of light, she saw them—two massive shadows locked in a deadly circle. One black at midnight. The other silver like the moon.Damien and Zephyr. The Alphas faced each other in the storm, fur bristling, teeth bared, growls rolling like thunder. The ground trembled beneath their power.“Stop!” Elena cried, but her voice was swallowed by the storm.Damien’s wolf lunged first—an explosion of muscle and fury. His claws raked across Zephyr’s flank, drawing blood.

The Jealous Alpha The sound of boots striking stone echoed sharply through the corridor—fast, angry, unstoppable. Elena’s pulse quickened. She didn’t need to see him to know who it was. The very air shifted when Damien was near, thick with power and something far more dangerous—possessive rage.Zephyr’s hand still rested on her shoulder. They’d barely escaped the aftermath of her vision, and he refused to leave her side until she steadied herself. But now… his presence could mean death.“Elena,” Zephyr murmured, sensing the approaching storm. “Breathe. Don’t panic.”Her heart hammered just as the heavy door to her chamber burst open with a violent crack.Damien stood there, golden eyes burning, his aura a storm of fury that made the candles flicker and die.For a long moment, no one spoke. The silence between the three of them hung heavier than chains. Then Damien’s voice cut through the stillness, low and deadly. “Tell me,” he said, each word sharp as a blade against her throat, “w

Forbidden VisionsElena awoke drenched in sweat. Her chest heaved as if she had been running from something unseen. Moonlight spilled through the latticed windows, casting silver patterns across her room, but the gentle light did nothing to calm the storm raging inside her.Her wolf stirred, restless and uneasy. Claws dragged softly against the floor, sensing danger before her conscious mind could. Every fiber of her being hummed with tension — a silent warning. What she felt in her dreams was no ordinary nightmare. For days, she’d battled strange pulses from within. The twins’ energy vibrated through her body in ways that were both frightening and exhilarating. But last night’s vision — or was it a premonition? — had shaken her to the core. She pressed a trembling hand to her belly, feeling tiny kicks and shifts from the twins. Her heart clenched. Their energy pulsed with life — but also something far older, far darker. Something whispering secrets she wasn’t ready to hear.“I… I

The Elder’s Words The great hall was silent now.The chaos of the previous night lingered like smoke in the air.Torches flickered as the pack members and council gathered cautiously, their eyes darting nervously between Damien, Elena, and the shadows that had vanished as quickly as they appeared. But Elena could feel a tremor in the air — something ancient, something waiting.A hush fell when the massive double doors at the end of the hall creaked open. All eyes turned toward the entrance. And then she saw him — the Elder. He was old. Impossibly old.His silver hair fell like a waterfall over his shoulders. His eyes were pale and luminous, as if reflecting another world entirely.Every step he took resonated with authority and centuries of unseen power.Even Damien, fierce and unyielding, took a half-step back, tension rippling across his shoulders.“Elena,” the Elder’s voice was soft, yet it carried through the hall like a bell tolling a warning.“Come forward.”Elena’s stomach twi
