"I should get back to work"

Mathew announced when he finished his own share of chips and freshly made jam,

"Oh,ouwigh!" Martha said with her mouth full,but everyone in the room understood what she was saying,

"I Still don't understand why you came home but alright, just remember to bring Mae to visit us next time!"

Mathews' dad told him as Mae got up from where she sat and walked towards where Mathew was currently standing.

"Alright,but it depends on Mae,if she wants to come I have no problem with that…"

"Of course I will love to go visit Martha next time"

Mae said landing a soft slap to Mathews chest,

"Martha?!"

Martha said with a frown to her brows,

"Uhh,am I not permitted to call you Martha?"

Mae asked,it was clear she was confused as she stared back and forth between Mathew and his mom,even his dad was surprised and stared between them,

"Don't be silly Mae,call me mom…Mathew doesn't do that often so you should!"
