Lia was on her way to work and she needed to walk to the bus stop. She was lost in thought thinking about Nick and how he was faring.

She wondered if he ever looked for her and tried to reach her. Did he miss her? Did he find another woman?

She had so many questions in her mind and she wished she had answers to them. She was so lost in thought that she didn't see a car coming from the other side and before she could come back to her senses, the car was already close by and the driver was struggling to maneuver his way not to hit her but he failed and he hit her.

She felt dizzy and passed out.

"Lia?" Nick was shocked to see the woman he has been looking for, for the past three months. Was this where she came to hide?

He carried her up and took her into the car. "Look for the nearest hospital and drive there." Nick ordered sharply.
