It had been a year since the whole incident happened. Maria left her whole life behind including Reid and her friends.

She was broken and saw no reason to live and now she had become a shadow of herself.

She had travelled back home to her family without caring about anything or anyone since she has nothing left to lose.

Maria laid on her bed with her door locked just like always. She had her head buried in her pillow, soaked in her tears with a high temperature.

Her room was dark just like a vampire's room that was avoiding sunlight. She had always lived like this after she had visited a therapist and there had been no difference in her case. She was still always gloomy and the whole thing she passed through still played in her head like it was yesterday.
