I laughed at Sebastian's joke knowing it's been almost 20 minutes since Xavier left. I knew he was just avoiding everyone in the room and I felt bad since I was the one who practically dragged him here. If I had known I wouldn't have suggested that we visit.

Amelia's POVI heard shuffling and opened my eyes to see Xavier awake staring at the ceiling. Instead of alerting him of my consciousness I laid there admiring him.
