ARIANA'S POV

I tried to pull away from Scott, but his hands tightened slightly around me.

I stiffened.

I was still too shaken to properly understand what was happening. My heart was pounding, my breathing was uneven, and everything around me felt like it was moving too quickly.

Then I looked back towards Professor Thiago to see him walking in our direction.

My stomach dropped.

People were already gathering around us, talking over one another about the car that had almost hit me.

  • HOT PROFESSOR NEXT DOOR   Fake Love

THIAGO'S POVI drove through my family house gate.Dad had texted me earlier, telling me to come home for dinner, and even though I wasn't in the mood for it, I knew better than to ignore him.I parked and killed the engine. Then I sat there for a few seconds, staring through the windshield.I didn't want to see Scott tonight but I couldn't stay in the car forever, so I grabbed my keys, stepped out and walked into the house.I had barely taken a few steps into the house when I heard voices coming from the dining room.My gaze landed on Scott. My entire body locked. Every muscle in me went rigid, my hands curling into fists before I even realized I was doing it.He was sitting at the dining table like nothing had happened.Like he hadn't put Ariana in danger. Like he hadn't watched her almost get hit by a car and then turned himself into the hero afterward. My first instinct was to walk straight toward him.I wanted to grab him. I wanted to drag him away from the table and demand to kn

  • HOT PROFESSOR NEXT DOOR   GAMES

THIAGO'S POVThat wasn't an accident.I tightened my grip around the steering wheel as I drove, my teeth clenched hard. My jaw was starting to hurt. There was no fucking way that was just an accident.I had seen that guy before. The driver.I had seen him talking to Scott earlier, somewhere on campus. I hadn't thought anything of it at the time. Why would I? Students talked to each other all the time. There had been nothing suspicious about it, nothing that would have made me stop and question what they were discussing. So I ignored it.I didn't think about it again. Not until now.Not until I heard people talking as I walked toward the parking lot.A car had been reversing and Ariana had been standing in its path. The driver hadn't seen her. Scott had been close enough to pull her away just before the car reached her.Scott had saved her. That was what everyone was saying. And the more I thought about it, the more my hands tightened around the steering wheel."Fuck." The word left my

He had stopped a short distance away, his gaze fixed directly on me.More specifically…On me in Scott's arms. Our eyes met.And suddenly, everything clicked.I became very much aware of Scott's hands around me, his chest against mine, and the way we must have looked from where Professor Thiago was standing. My breath caught.I quickly pushed myself away from Scott, using more st

  • HOT PROFESSOR NEXT DOOR   SECRET MOTIVE

ARIANA'S POV“No way. No way. No way. No fucking way.”Maya paced back and forth across my bedroom, her arms folded tightly across her chest as she repeated the same words for what felt like the hundredth time.I sat against the headboard with my legs crossed beneath the blanket, holding Devotion in my lap while watching her move around the room.We had changed into our matching pyjamas a while ago, and our hair was both tied into messy buns. We had also put on face masks as part of our usual skincare routine, which made Maya's angry expression even funnier because half of her face was covered in a pale green mask.I sighed and looked down at the book in my hands. “I thought you wanted to read,” I reminded her calmly.“I do want to read,” Maya replied immediately, stopping in front of the bed and throwing her hands up. “But how am I supposed to read when I have just found out that I am officially stuck with Fred?”I raised an eyebrow. “You're not stuck with him forever.”“It feels lik

  • HOT PROFESSOR NEXT DOOR   PAIRED ENEMIES

ARIANA'S POVScott. My hand dropped slowly from the shelf as I stared at him, my brain refusing to accept what my eyes were seeing. What was he doing here?Of all the people I could have run into in the library, why did it have to be him?Scott stood in front of me with a completely blank look on his face, the book I couldn't reach still in his hand. He didn't look surprised to see me. He didn't look angry either. He simply looked at me like running into his ex-girlfriend in the library was the most normal thing in the world.I didn't know what to make of it.My heart started beating faster, not because I wanted him there, but because seeing him brought back too many things I didn't want to remember. The hurtful things he said to me. The way he cheated on me and still managed to make me feel like everything was somehow my fault.I swallowed and forced myself to look away from his face.I wasn't going to stand there and let one stupid encounter ruin my day.Scott glanced at the book in

  • HOT PROFESSOR NEXT DOOR   SECRET PLANS

THIAGO'S POVI wasn't jealous. At least, that was what I kept telling myself.I simply didn't like seeing Kai walk into Ariana's apartment while she was dressed like that. A tank top and those tight bum shorts she'd been wearing were not the kind of outfit I wanted another man seeing her in. Especially not a man who had been pestering her enough to get invited inside. It irritated me but I tried to ignore it. I told myself it wasn't my business, that Ariana was free to have whoever she wanted in her apartment and that I had absolutely no right to care. Then I found myself walking toward her door.I hadn't even thought about it. My legs simply started moving before I knew it and by the time I reached her apartment, I was already standing there wondering what the hell I was doing. That question had followed me back into my apartment.I had already told myself that I was only helping Ariana move on from Scott. That was all this was supposed to be. A deal. I would help her get over her e
