"Happy birthday, beautiful." I heard Alessandro behind me which had me turning off the tv before facing him.
"Don't remind me." He only smiled while pressing a kiss against my forehead.
"I'm sorry I'm late, my flight got delayed." I gave him a smile of reassurance.
"It's fine, I got to spend more time with the kids," I informed him while he took a seat beside me.
"That's good to hear, so do you want anything for this birthday?" I stared into his eyes as I bit my lip.
"I can get anything I want?" He laughed lightly at my tone.
"Besides that, our beautiful children are still awake." I sighed playfully.
"Alright, can you make me some pancakes?"
"It's 6 pm, Nat." I shrugged.
"Isn't it my birthday?"
