Chapter 6: One Week & Any better
-
Natalia's P.O.V
I walked towards Alessia's room with Alessandro, who was very quiet on the journey as something seemed to be on his mind.
When we stopped in front of the room I had placed her in, I carefully opened the door allowing him to see his sleeping sister.
"See she's still alive." He closed the door nodding.
"Sadly she is. Do you have any idea where my room is?"
"You can take the vacant one down the hall to the left," I told him which earned a smile.
"Do you mind showing me?" I nodded.
"I do mind. I'm very tipsy right now and I would like to sleep." He only smiled allowing me to leave him in the hall as I walked back to my room to take a shower and sleep.
-
The next day
I groaned at the sharp pain in my head from the decisions I made at the bar last night.
I stayed in a bed for a few minutes contemplating whether or not I should get up despite the fact I didn't really care much for my life.
Even though I would rather stay in bed I knew my mother would come to wake me up sooner or later.
I went into my bathroom, freezing when I saw two men stepping out of the shower.
I knew them as Liam and Thomas.
It didn't take much for me to figure out why they were in my room in the first place as images of last nights activities flashed in my mind like a faded dream.
"Good morning." I greeted them while going to the sink to wash my face and dry it.
Once I did, I turned my attention back to them.
"Good morning, beautiful," Thomas replied as he walked over to me, pressing a kiss against my cheek.
Before he could pull back I brought his lips to mine, deciding to take a little detour before I went to breakfast.
"Do you care for another shower?" I asked them both, they only smiled while leading me towards it.
-
After 40 minutes? I changed into a simple black dress and heels that matched.
Liam placed my hair in front of my chest to hide the multiple hickeys on my neck.
Thomas changed into clothes he wore last night that covered his stunning chocolate skin despite the fact I enjoyed seeing him naked.
"Do you want breakfast to go?"
"I think I already had my breakfast, but sure," Liam replied planting a brief kiss against my lips.
Walking out of my room we went downstairs going into the kitchen where everyone was sitting around the breakfast table eating.
Their eyes immediately went to me then my guests.
"Morning." I greeted everyone while placing some food into a container for Liam and Thomas.
"Good morning, Natalia. Who are your guests?" My mother asked as I handed them the food.
"My very good friends," I replied while ignoring Alessandro's usual burning gaze.
"I'll see you soon?" Thomas inquired, I smiled nodding before placing a quick kiss against their lips allowing them to leave.
"That explains the noise," Andrey commented while sipping his tea as I took a seat next to Alessandro, placing my food on the table.
"Good morning." I greeted him, he only looked at me seeming to force a smile as he nodded slightly to tell me he acknowledged my greeting before he turned his attention back to my father.
I was now confused.
That was the coldest Alessandro had ever been, he'd usually be smiling and staring at me anytime I entered a room.
I decided to just ignore his odd behaviour since it shouldn't have been bothering me at all.
"No hangover?" I asked Andrey, he shook his head glancing at Alessia who looked like she was about to die.
"I can't say the same for her." I laughed softly as I began to eat.
"Where did you meet your friends, Natalia?" Andrey inquired, I merely shrugged.
"High school...I think." He didn't get to ask any more questions as my father spoke.
"Stay here for a few days and rethink it." My father said with the hope Alessandro would listen to his request and stay.
"Anton I-" Alessia interrupted her brother despite the obvious headache she was experiencing.
"Alessandro, please just think about it." He sighed.
"Fine, I'll stay for one week. If you can't convince me to sign the contract...well you'll know when the time comes."
My father clenched his fist since he didn't take threats lightly, no Petrov did, but he nodded not wanting to ruin his chances of getting the alliance.
"Do you want a tour of the place—" Alessandro looked ready to protest my father's offer but before he could say no, my father spoke again.
"With Natalia."
I almost choked on my orange juice when he said this. I noticed how easily Alessandro's mood change the second my father mentioned my name.
"If you insist."
"Great."
-
The second I finished breakfast, I began the tour much to my dismay.
I had begged Andrey to do it, but he made up some excuse before leaving the room.
"These halls lead to the guest bedrooms, down there is the bathroom, over there is the bar—we'll go there later." I led him outside walking towards the garden.
"Out here is where the garden is, which leads to one of our five pools, if—" I started but he cut me off as we made our way through the garden that was filled with all different kinds of flowers.
"I don't care about your father's mansion, Natalia." He told me truthfully while taking a seat on one of the benches.
"Why didn't you tell me that earlier? It would have saved me a lot of energy." I asked with a tired sigh.
"I like hearing you speak." That was his answer and I could tell he wasn't kidding.
"You know, if I didn't know any better I would say you like me," I replied truthfully while taking a seat beside him.
"Let's finish the tour." He said as he stood, ignoring my statement.
"I need a drink, you can join me if you'd like."

- Book 2: Epilogue - 5 YEARS LATER Natalia's P.O.V "Happy birthday, beautiful." I heard Alessandro behind me which had me turning off the tv before facing him. "Don't remind me." He only smiled while pressing a kiss against my forehead. "I'm sorry I'm late, my flight got delayed." I gave him a smile of reassurance. "It's fine, I got to spend more time with the kids," I informed him while he took a seat beside me. "That's good to hear, so do you want anything for this birthday?" I stared into his eyes as I bit my lip. "I can get anything I want?" He laughed lightly at my tone. "Besides that, our beautiful children are still awake." I sighed playfully. "Alright, can you make me some pancakes?" "It's 6 pm, Nat." I shrugged. "Isn't it my birthday?" "I guess,

This earned a scoff from Alessandro.
-Book 2: Chapter 27: Pregnant & Yes-A year later"I've never hated you more Alessandro," I stated, making him smile as he flushed the toilet that held my vomit."You're the one who wanted another child. "I hate this."
-Book 2: Chapter 26: Another & Time-Natalia's P.O.VI pulled back from his lips to stare into his brown eyes that reminded me of home."I love you," I whispered trying to push back the feeling of tiredness since I had woken up a few minutes ago."And I love you. -Chapter 25: Kennedy & Gunshot-Natalia's P.O.V"What are you talking about?""Come on, Natalia. Do you really think a 16 year old could have this much money? This many bodyguards? This many guns? By herself?""As I said, she helped me and in return, I helped her." She informed me which didn't clear up all the confusion my mind held."I don't understand. Why would she want revenge if she left Alessandro and Alessia years ag
- Chapter 24: Future & Revenge - Natalia's P.O.V I drove towards the warehouse with a heavy chest as I came closer and closer to the location my sister had given me. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what she was going to do to me once I arrived. This made me wish I had told my kids one last goodbye. I was silently hoping this wouldn't be my last night on this earth, but I knew hope wasn't something steady to rely on.
