Chapter 12:

As Gabriel and Scarlette left the mansion, Scarlette couldn't help but chuckle at the memory of Morgana's warning. "What's so funny?" Gabriel asked, amused by Scarlette's sudden laughter. "It's just that Morgana thinks she has a chance with you when you're already taken," Scarlette replied, trying to hold back her giggles. Gabriel chuckled as well, "Well, she clearly doesn't know what she's up against." Suddenly, a gust of wind blew and Scarlette's skirt flew up, revealing her polka-dot underwear. Gabriel burst out laughing at Scarlette's embarrassed face. "I'm sorry, it's just too funny," he said, trying to control his laughter. Scarlette's face turned beet red as she tried to push down her skirt. "Hey, at least no one else saw it," Gabriel teased. They both laughed as they continued their walk back to their safe haven, glad for the lighthearted moment in the midst of their troubles.
