Darren's P.O.V

When mum began crying, I panicked. Did I do something wrong? Did she find out I was lying about my homework? 

"Mum, please don't cry. Did I do something wrong?"

She didn't look mad. Maybe I'm seeing things that aren't true. 

"No, you didn't do anything wrong. It's just that you haven't said 'I love you' to me in six years."

Come to think of it, I realised that she was right. I hadn't said it in a long time and I didn't exactly show it to her either.

Wow, I'm a horrible child. I love my mum. She should know this even if I forget to tell her.

"Mum, you should know I love you even if I forget to tell you sometimes. You are my one and only mother. Nobody else would still love me after everything."
