6. The Stalker

Rose was on cloud nine after her heart-to-heart with Alex. Her doubts had faded away, and she felt more secure in her relationship with him. However, she didn't know that her past was about to come back to haunt her.

As she was walking home from work one evening, she noticed a figure lurking in the shadows. At first, she brushed it off as her imagination, but when she quickened her pace, the figure seemed to do the same.

Rose turned around to get a better look and saw that it was Jon. Her heart sank as she realized that he had been stalking her. She hadn't seen him in months, and the sight of him made her feel uneasy.

Jon approached her, his eyes wild and his breath coming out in ragged gasps. "Rose, we need to talk," he said, his voice shaky.

Rose took a step back, feeling a sense of fear creeping up on her. "Jon, what are you doing here?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"I need you to come back to me, Rose," he said, his eyes pleading. "I miss you, I love you, and I don't
