Waterfall

For the rest of the ride, Sylvia gave the man beside her silent treatment, believing she had the right to be mad. Nonetheless, because of how exhausted she was and how steadily the car moved, she fell asleep.

Once Blake stopped the car in front of a hotel, his eyes fell on her. He got down from the car and opened the door for her before attempting to shake her awake.

However, Sylvia groaned.

“You go off. I will sleep in the car,” she expressed, finding her current position to be comfortable.

At this, mischief crossed through his eyes as he asked, “Aren’t you afraid of a ghost kidnapping you?”

That got her to blink her eyes open immediately, and she glared at him. Then, extending her hand, she voiced out, “Carry me.”

He shot her an unamused stare at it.

“I will be mad if you don’t.”

And that’s how, Sylvia was carried by Blake on back. She leaned her head on his shoulder as she wrapped her hands around him and closed her eyes.

It was comfortable.
