Staring at the mansion before her located in a secluded area got her to raise one of her eyebrow and fold her arms over her chest.

“Now, why are we in front of this fancy mansion in the middle of the night? Is it your friend’s place or something?”

Meanwhile, he held her hand to walk inside and answered, “It’s our home.”

Sylvia needed a second to let that settle in.

The sound of their home made her heart swell up with unsurmountable amount of warmth.

However, she couldn’t let him get to her that easily.

She pressed her feet on the floor to stop herself and pulled her hand away from his grip.

Then, she said, “What do you mean our home? Are you forgetting that I stay at another country? I have my own place and job there. You don’t expect me to move in here, right?”

“I do,” he answered, “we are married. Are you planning to stay away from me?”

His eyes darkened.

Sylvia shrugged her shoulders.
