Chapter Ninety-Two

The drive to Seattle from Rixon hills was long and my mind took this as another opportunity to think about Roman, particularly the last time I went to Seattle, which was the night of our first date.

We had not started dating then and I only agreed to go out with him because we made a bet and he won.

While the details of the bet is irrelevant at this point, the date is one I doubt I will ever forget. Before we had been unfortunately interrupted by Nicole that day, it had one of the best nights I had had in a while.

I can't lie, Roman, with all his flaws and annoying traits... Is one hell of a date. The way he had made me feel so special that night, the way he had stared at me the entire night from the drive there in the limo and when we had sat opposite each other at the restaurant, he kept staring at me like a man completely fascinated.
