Chapter Seventeen

On my way to my next class after lunch, I see Oliver and Anna ahead of me. I bend my head hoping they won't notice me because I'm still not ready to confront them about whatever it is that is going on between them. I'm not mad about it anymore, I didn't have any lingering feelings for Collins but I still felt betrayed by Anna for some reason.

Unfortunately, Oliver spots me and they both walk up to me. Since I can't run forever, I decide to just get it over with.

"Hey Lin" both they greet in chorus.

"Hey yourselves" My tone sounds a bit off but nothing about this is normal yet.

Anna is the one who speaks after a few lingering seconds, "So we both noticed that you kind of have been ignoring us..."

"I wonder why" I reply dryly.

"We spoke to Cassie and she told us you knew about our relationship" Oliver comes to stand directly beside Anna and holds her hands, for support or what I'm not sure. I roll my eyes at it, what a supportive boyfrie
