024 The Rejection Sting

"And then you just got out?!" Simon rose his eyebrow so high they almost disappeared into his hair.

"What else am I supposed to do?!" Knight grunted in frustration.

"You sleep with so many women, AND men, how come you are still so bad at this?!" Simon burst into laughter at Knight's sullen look.

A wood flew at Simon's way and he dodged Knight's ashamed-anger-driven attack in laughter.

"Seriously, when women say they want you to get out, usually they don't really want you out." Simon shook his head, "I learned that the hard way, trust me, the longer you 'stay out' the worse!"

Knight rolled his eyes before he signed with a defeated tone: "Then what IS it that they want?"

"They want you to apologize, most of the time," Simon said in a lecturing tone.

"I did! I apologized, a lot! I barely rose my voice...I think." Knight rubbed his hair in frustration, "Except when I fed him the cure...I think."

"There are a lot of 'I think' there." Simon squinted his eyes at Knight.

"I don't know, okay?!
