Chapter 13

Patrick's P. O. V

After some time waiting for the school to be slightly empty, I was on my way out of school when I heard a faint knock. Looking behind me, I realised there was no one behind me. Not thinking too much about it, I headed my way.

It came again, this time a little fainter. Curious, I called out. " Is someone there?" No reply.

I looked at the doors in the hallway. They were all closed. Surely this school isn't haunted, is it? Waving the thought off, I made to leave again, but something stopped me dead in the tracks.

The nightmare I had came this morning came flashing through and my heart skipped a bit. Oh God, it better not be true. I turned back and started searching all the rooms. They were all empty till I got to the Janitor's closet, which was locked.

I tried pushing, but it wouldn't budge.

" Hello, is someone there?" I asked, knocking loudly. But who would lock it? The school isn't completely closed yet. Not taking it anymore, I forced the door open
