Sylvia's POV

I stared at Tasha, fighting for words. All in all, I was confused. How did she get to find out?

"I was in the school of course. Where else would I be?" I said, even though it didn't ring true.

Tasha clicked her tongue, rolling her eyes. " You think I believe you? For all I know, you're just another little liar! " She pointed out, scowling. I gulped nervously.

"I-I was in school... I-I swear." I stuttered, desperately looking for a way to convince her. If she tells on me, I'll be doomed.

Tasha smiled. It was a sly one, the one that says she had me right where she wanted me and there was no escaping it.

"Let's see how you convince the principal and the entire board of how you were in school when you were not..." she muttered to my ear and just as she was about to leave, she got yanked back.

"What the hell...!?" she yelped out in pain. I looked up at the person who owned the hands and heaved a quick sigh of relief. It was no other than Alex.
