Mason's pov.I strutted into the club like I owned the place, which, let's be real, I pretty much did. Mateo's pov I drove down the road to my house, all the while contemplating what to really do about the whole shitshow. I was tired, and now Caleb isn't back yet, and the day is almost over. I stared at my watch and then at the traffic light, waiting for it to turn back to green so I could continue. All the cars were lined up in piles on the road, and surprisingly, now only one seems to be complaining much. I intentionally sipped down the glass and then poked my head out to find out what was going on out there. My eyes widened in surprise, my face showing how annoyed I am right now. MATEO'S POV "Wake up, silly!" I heard a strange voice beckoning at me. That was when I regained consciousness. I was lying on the ground in a dirty alleyway. My head was throbbing, and my entire body ached. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my ribs, and I fell back down with a groan.I lay there for a few minutes, trying to catch my breath and gather my thoughts. Finally, I managed to sit up again, this time more slowly. I looked around, trying to orient myself. Mateo's povAn idea came to mind while mason was still chirping. He wasn't professional and he forgot something. That the was dealing with a professional Killer.
