Mason's pov.

I strutted into the club like I owned the place, which, let's be real, I pretty much did. The bouncer nodded at me as I passed, and I could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on me as I made my way over to the VIP section.

I plopped down in my usual seat, surrounded by my boys and some pretty ladies, and signaled for the bartender to bring over a round of shots. I let out a loud, boisterous laugh, trying my best to seem like I was having the time of my life.

But on the inside, I was a mess. I'd been stuck in this damn Mafia life for far too long, and I was starting to feel like I was suffocating. All the backstabbing and scheming was starting to wear on me, and I was desperate to get out. I wanted to go back to my real self. After all, my main purpose of being Jim has been accomplished. Matteo must have rotted in his grave by now, because I made sure that the bullet got him well.

I am loving the story but not very happy that there are duplicate chapters that have to be purchased in order to keep reading. Chapters 89-91 and 94-96
