Chapter Four

Emma pov

"I'm tryna put you In the worst mood ah." The Weeknd song was on replay in my head since I woke up.

Other than that, last night's events with me and Tristan also was on replay. Ugh. I really thought I would have forgotten about it.

I had to try to ignore him the next day I see him at school. I wanted to stay strong and try to control myself around him, but it seemed like he had an effect on me.

I shook Crissy like crazy, to try and wake her up but instead, she slapped away my hand. I pushed her really hard that it made her fall off the bed.

"Emma! What the hell, are you trying to break my neck?" She yelled at me getting back onto the bed.

"You should have woken up like a normal person, instead of smacking my damn hand. That shit hurt you know. Go bathe and get dressed then meet me downstairs, I'm making breakfast for us."

I went downstairs and started on breakfast. I made toast with egg and Bacon.

"Damn something smells good and I'm starving." Crissy came in and sat by the kitchen island.

"I can tell, I can hear your belly growling like a wild animal from here." I teased her.

"Oh shut up Emma." We laughed at each other.

My parents weren't at home, they've gone to a breakfast meeting with my mum's boss. I texted her that we were going jogging in the park. She texted back to be safe. Crissy and I wore our tracksuits and headed to the park.

We jogged for a few then started walking. It was a Sunday so the area was quiet, not many people were around.

You can hear the birds chirping in the distance in the nearby trees. The smell of fresh air was quite comforting. There was a bench further up from where we were so we've decided to take a rest once we reached it. On our way I noticed a tall well-fitted man walking towards us but stopped where the bench was.

"Hey Em doesn't that look like Mr Clarke?" Crissy stopped and looked at me.

"I think so, I'm not sure, let's walk up and see," I said.

We approached him closer, then realize that our theory was right. He looked so good with all that sweat dripping down his body.

Are you gonna talk to him Em?" Crissy teased while poking my belly."

"No uh-um you should go." I Stuttered while keeping my gaze on his muscular frame.

I was literally drooling over him. His muscle popped in all the right places.

'Geez Emma pull yourself together girl, I thought to myself.

"Hello, earth to Emma." I felt Crissy's soft palm shaking my shoulders, causing me to snap out of my gaze.

"I know you like him Em, you can't hide that look you put on your face when he's around." She folded her arms under her breast and smirk at me.

"What look? I'm normal when I'm around him." I pouted. She raised a brow at me.

"It's the same way you use to look at Tristan a few years back. Eyes full of wonder and temptation to do forbidden things," she said waving her hand around.

I rolled my eyes at her, then got a flashback to when I had a bad crush on Tristan, I never told him but I think he had a hint by the way he acted around me. I immediately got out of my thoughts when I got a whiff of a vanilla scent. As I looked up from gazing at the floor I saw Mr Clarke staring at me with a smirk on his face.

"Hi Ms Johnson and Ms Hathaway. What are you guys doing here so early this Sunday morning?"

"We're out on an early jog, as you can see" Crissy answered in her flirty tone. It's disgusting, geez.

"Can I join you, girls? Well only if you don't mind." He asked.

"I have to head back home to meet my parents but Emma can do with the company," Crissy said smiling hysterically.

I looked at Crissy shocked by her words, I hit her with the 'your so gonna be dead' look.

She laughed then turned away from us jogging away. Leaving me speechless.

"Shall we?" He pointed to the pathway in front of us.

We walked slowly and talked about school and weird-ass facts about some of the teachers.

"Hey, can I see your piercing?" I manage to ask almost stumbling on my words.

He chuckled, hesitated a bit but then showed me his tongue piercing. The ball was pink and black. The pink was almost the same colour as his tongue. Maybe that was why I didn't notice it during class.

"That's a really sexy piercing," I said to him blushing so damn hard. I didn't know why piercings turned me on.

"Glad to see you like it, I have one other somewhere else, but it's better you don't know where." He said mischievously.

"Oh come on, you can't tell me shit like that and leave me hanging," I argued.

He just laughed and began walking again.

"Mr Clarke, please I'll really like to know," I begged, giving him my poppy eyes.

"Fine, It's inappropriate to say so this is between me and you. It's where the sun doesn't shine," He said.

I frowned at him. "What do you mean?"

He chuckled showing off his barely visible dimple. "It's on my penis." He whispered it but I clearly heard what he said.
