Drake almost jumped up in joy and hugged Adele. But then her one look was enough for him to bounce back a few meters away from the dining table.

He suddenly sensed that other than them the whole mansion was empty. He looked at Betty and asked, “Grandma, where is everyone? I don’t see my grandfather or anyone else inside the house?”

“Oh! They all went out to meet the leaders to talk about the upcoming alpha fight.” Betty informed him.

Then she leaned closer to him and said, “Also, we received information that the hunters are planning an attack on us once this fight ends.”

“What? Why now, after all these years? Didn’t we sign a treaty with them that we won’t interfere in their business and the same goes for them too?” Drake wondered.

“Oh! It’s because of what you guys did earlier. Did you forget the car drive that caused a disaster in the city when you went outside the fore
