We stood in front of Ethan's office staring blankly at it. Someone working here that we probably know has something to do with Ethan's accident.

"Why exactly are we staring at this place again" Del asked.

"I havae no idea" I replied.

"Let's go in" She said while dragging me in.

I have never been here in all the years Ethan and i have been dating, he was sacred of what the media will say, or do and write about me. Yes, it was a form of protection but at the same time i hated it because had he told the world about me, the media would have helped in diclosing who i was to him.

We got to his secretary table with Della asking if Ethan is around, am not quite sure what we will do once we get to his office but again this is Della that am talking about. She is normally crazy and acts without giving anything a second thought, which always make us bith end up in trouble.

"Is my brother around?" Del asked.

"Yes ma'am but his fiancee is with him. Let me make a call to him"The secretary said.

"Never mind"Del said while waving her off.

We walked into what revealed to be a gigantic and exotic office space. It is big, spacious and had everything it needs. I saw him with Josephine on his lap.

"You didn't mention that you're going to come over" He said to Del.

"Do i need to ask for permission?" Del asked and he said no.

"Amelia, i didn't ask you to come here and our appointment isn't due till tomorrow" Josephine said while standing up from his lap.

"I was the one who invited her" Del stated.

"But she works for me , you can't just invite her anyhow"

"Really, i didn't know that there is an exclusive contract you signed with her stating she can't work with other people"Della stated.

"You really need to watch your mouth"

"And you need to watch your actions around me"

"You two need to stop behaving like kids" Ethan said.

"But sh......."

"No buts" Ethan cut Josephine off.

"I don't really understand why you two hate each other guts, Can you all just leave. i need to work" He asked.

"Including me?"Josephine.

"Yes including you Joe" He said and she stormed out.

We got out of the office only to meet the eyes of Joesphine

"Consider yourself fired" She said while glaring at me and walked out.

"Thank Goodness" Del said.

"Dude, i just got fired and you're thanking God about it. Are you of your mind"

"And are you okay with planning your boyfriend's wedding?, you guys have a kid for crying out loud" She said or perhaps yelled. She kind of have a point.

I smiled remembering the face Del made when she realized that i have a kid.

....................Flashback................

After we got to the restaurant where we were catching up on things when Joesphine reintroduced us, i remembered that Daniel will soon be getting out of school.

"I have to leave soon" I told Del

"Why???"

"I need to pick up Daniel"

"Daniel who?"

"My son" I said.

"Am going to fucking kill you, you have a son, a fucking child..........wait for who?.......why am i even asking a stupid question..... it is obviously for my brother right???"

"Yes, he is your brother"s child"

"Ohhhh...Thank God, i thought for a moment that hey maybe she slept with someone else but then remembered that you can't do that shit"

"Why did you think so?"

"Seriously? You are asking that kind of question. You are the only people who makes me feel single in all areas. And you two literally can't really function without each other. It is just unfortunate that he doesn't remember you" She said and i nodded.

We ended up going to Daniel's school to pick him up since Del said she wanted to meet him.

"Good Afternoon ma'am, Are you momma's friend?" Daniel asked.

"Yes, you can call me aunty Del"

"And you can call me Dan, only close people can call me by that name"

"Cute" Del stated....

We were about leaving the office premises when i saw Ethan's Secretary enter a particular car, Ethan's mom car. Maybe am thinking too much about it.

The next day, Del and i met up because she said she got a lead on something, i wasn't exactly sure what it was but i went anyways.

"So i had no choice but to sneak into my mom's office last night"

"Give me a good reason why"

"She got a weird phone call last night and it was as if the person was threatening her"

"What made you think so?"

"You know that look one give when he or she has been caught red handed, but the main issue here is that in found this documents in her office" She said while showing me the shot of documents she took.

"Why will you find it weird that your mom is sending money to someone's account. She probably is paying them for their job."

"Indeed, the person is Ethan's Secretary"

"Am not seeing the problem here"

"Why in the world would my mom be paying here 2 milllion dollars monthly and for fucks sake she is just a secretary, Ethan is already paying her for her job."

....OKK, Something is definitely fishy...

"Now that i think of it, i saw her entering your mom's car yesterday"

"Great, we have a lead"
