We continued staring at one another.

"What in heaven's sake are you doing here Del?, You and Scott better not be dating"Ethan yelled.

"Ewww...... i have higher standards" Del said.

"So do i" Scott replied while eyeing Del.

"And any reason why Joe's former wedding planner is also hiding with you guys cause the last i remember Joe fired her"Ethan said.

"And did she give you a reason why she fired her?" Del asked.

"Incompetence and something about not meeting up regularly for appointments" Ethan said and i scrunch my eyebrows in confusion. I never miss any of our appointments and when in fuck's name am i incompetent.

"Sure, she would lie" Del said.

"You really need to stop hating on Joe like that. She is a nice person"

"Really, cause not quite long ago, someone was complaining about not wanting to get married." Scott said

"I did not say am not getting married to her. I just am not ready now"Ethan said.

"I literally can't see the difference"Scott said.

"Same here"Del responded.

"Will you two stop this madness?, Am in love with her" He said making my heart clench while Del and Scott give me pity look.

"Hmmm, i don't think so, that lady is the devil herself" Del said.

"Why is she here again?"Ethan asked while pointing at me.

"We are working on something?" Scott said and i nodded.

"And what exactly is this something?"Ethan asked and we all stared at each other.

"Will you guys stop with the stares and answer the damn question?" He said or perhaps yelled.

"Okkkk........Promise not to panic"Scott said.

"Wait.... you're really going to tell him about EVERYTHING?" i asked.

"Yes, he has to know at one point" Del said and Scott agreed with her.

"Am i the only one who thinks this is a bad idea. He is not going to believe us"I said

"Just trust me, as long as it isn't something stupid or weird." Ethan said.

"So what you're trying to say is that i wasn't dating Joe before my accident but i was actually dating her" Ethan asked and we all nod our heads at the same time.

"Am sorry to say this but i have high standards" He said and i scoffed.

"Are you being serious right now?"I asked

"I mean i was suspecting that mom was lying about my relationship with Joe but really!!!! we used to be a thing"Ethan said.

"Give me a reason why i shouldn't strangle you right now?"I asked.

"You two should stop your lovers quarrel and let us focus on the issue at hand" Scott scolded.

"We confront mom about it" Ethan responded blankly.

"I thought you two were stupid before but i can clearly see who the stupid one is" I said while referring to Ethan.

"You are forgetting he is also dumb" Scott added.

"And also still sufferring from the aftermath of the accident."Del replied.

"You three realize that i can hear you guys" Ethan said with obvious annoyance.

"Why won't we call you names when you are always bringing up the most stupid ideas that ever exist in the history of ideas"I said with sarcasm.

"Then what do you suggest we do. Miss Smartty Pants?" He asked

" Since we've come to a conclusion that your mom, Lillian and Jeremy are working together with a probability that Joesphine might also be doing the same. We need to know who drag you out of the car and who you met in that house and why?" I said and we all agreed.

"I will check if Joe is involved" Ethan said and i hummed.

I got home from Scott's after the discussion we had together...

"Hey babe"Joesphine said in the annoying voice she normally use which always make me want to puke.

"You look tired" She said and i nodded while heading upstairs.

"Am going to start preparing dinner"She said and i look back. Joe NEVER cooks and obviously doesn't know how.

I got upstairs and change into one of my casual wears, i was about going downstairs when i saw Joe's phone. It was unlocked. Perfect. I can't believe anything Amelia says until am sure. My mother can't lie about something like that right.....

I was about reading her messages when a message popped up

"Lie to him that the pregnancy is his and get him to get him to give you probably three to four million dollars and we can go and start our lives elsewhere babe........I love you XOXO" The message read....................So she is a cheater.

I was about dropping when another message came in.

"Tell him to get rid of Amelia, Ethan can't know about her or else you lose everything. Make sure there is no mistakes" The message read. I looked at the number and it turned out to be my mother's own.......

"How was work babe?" Joe asked.

"It was good" I replied. I can't believe she wants me for my money and mom is planing on killing Amelia. I need to warn her.

"I want to tell you something" She said and i gestured for her to continue.

"Am pregnant" She screamed.

"Really.........Ohhhhhh my God...........am going to be a dad " I said while feigning ignorance. Two can play a game.......

I got to work early while informing Del and Amelia to come see me.

"Am guessing you got something right?"Amelia asked . Damn, she is one fine specimen

"Yes, you guys were right" I replied.

"Hi sexy ladies" Scott said while walking in.

"What's popping?"He asked.

"My mom is planning to killing Amelia" I stated balantly.

"You say?"Amelia asked or perhaps yelled.

"This is getting dangerous and deadlier than i expected."Scott said.

"And we will play along"I said while smiling.

"I don't think am going to like your plan" Amelia said while eyeing me.

FIVE HOURS LATER

"Babe....You can't believe what just happened. I just got a call that the former wedding planner i introduced to you got involved in a car accident." Joe said while walking into my office.

"Are you being serious?"

"I am"

"Poor girl,they the car got burnt and by the time they put it off, she was unrecognisable"

"May her soul rest in perfect peace" I said while smirking.

"Amen"
