I did not know why I kissed her.

I could not give myself a suitable answer, not even when I parted my lips and eased my tongue into her mouth, not when I wrapped my right arm around her waist and pulled her from the door, bringing her closer to myself. At that moment, nothing made sense.

What was worse? I was perfectly content with it.
