Thank you for your support for Healing Powers. Will the Pack forgive Jenna or will they be divided. We'll find out soon with our next chapter update tomorrow. Be sure to leave a comment or review letting me know your thoughts. Be sure to follow my s-m channels - I will be sharing the new book cover for The Beta's Mate - Sam's story. Ellie xo
Adam POV Jenna’s father was brought back into the courtroom. Her mother, Luna Ashley, was also brought in for her husband’s sentencing. She sits directly behind Alpha Gordon, with warriors on either side of her. Everyone was required to stand as the judges returned to their seats. They looked solemnly at those of us present. “There is no winning side in today’s proceedings,” the judge starts to say. “There is only room for justice. The atrocities committed by Alpha Gordon Frasier in the case of trying to kidnap his own daughter, in return assisting with the kidnapping of someone else, plus supporting the development of a rogue army leave us little wiggle room for sentencing anything less than life in prison,” the judge concludes his spiel. Jenna’s mother screams and the warriors must grab her to keep her from lunging toward the judges. Alpha Gordon slams his fist down on the table, breaking it in half as he stands also threatening the judg
Adam POV It felt great to have Sam back again. I am sure there is some story behind his mystery woman, but that would be a conversation over a cold beer once we cleared out the rogue situation. I shifted midstride, destroying my clothes but there was no time to stop and change. Our warriors were updating us that the numbers of rogues entering our territory were higher than we had seen before. They might be an army, but they were not a healed army so there would be disorganization amongst them. They would fight for so long before their own goals would shadow what the current head rogue wanted. And it concerned me that the head rogue could be Tim. He knew more about Jenna because of his connection to the Rogue King and Wendy. Clearly it put him at an advantage we would have preferred he not have. As I broke through the clearing, Sam and Jack were close on my heels. I could not believe what I saw. There were at least thirty rogues fighting o
Adam POV As I come through the forest and come upon the scene in front of me my heart sinks as I see yet another ring of rogues surrounding Jenna. I can see the two warriors in front of her being destroyed as Tim makes his way towards her. I roar my anger as Jake pounces forward destroying all rogues in his path. My only goal is to get to Jenna. When I heard from her it was Elder Fred who had betrayed us, I was filled with rage. I wanted to destroy him myself, but I see someone beat me to it as his insides are spilled out on the ground in front of Jenna. I know, from Jenna, that the Pack members present are unable to shift as they were affected by the wolfsbane. It also explains why they could not communicate with me. Fortunately, the rogues were not bothering with them, and I could see the women were pushing the children away as best they could without drawing attention to themselves. I make my way through the crowd of rogues along with th
Six months later ... Jenna POV I sat feeding my pup, Grace. She was the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen, but I am sure I am quite bias I think with a chuckle. She had dark hair like her daddy, and silver eyes like me with her angelic features. Adam was an amazing daddy to his little girl. He got up with me for all feedings and took her to his office often to give me a break. There was no me and him; it was one hundred percent us. I loved him more for that. Grace had been born two months ago. I do not know how, but I was blessed with a very quick labour and delivery. I suspect it had something to do with Gracie’s impatience at wanting to be born. She was ready to see this world and meet her family. We knew from the moment of her birth she had a strong aura. You knew you were in the presence of someone special. Her eyes were bright, and she has been aware of her surroundings since the first moment she opened them. It would n
Jenna POVLooking around the Club, I was bored. I was with my superficial friends. Those friends who wanted to be your friend because of who you were. I was the Alpha’s daughter. Everyone wanted to say we were friends. Nobody really cared about me. Nobody really knew me for that matter. I had a couple friends I would call close but even then, I kept a lot of my wants and desires private. Trusting people was a big factor for me.Once we got into a club in the VIP line or got into a restaurant that was otherwise booked months in advance, they tended to drift off to do their own thing. The only smart thing was I always drove or had someone drive us. So, I always had a ride home when I was ready to leave.I played the role of spoiled, rich girl very well. I was daddy’s little girl. My parents were hoping I would find my mate soon so my dad could retire. My parents never thought of me as Alpha material. Not that I fought it a great deal. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to be a L
Adam POVSlamming into Wendy one more time, we both shatter and groan at our releases. We have been dating for about six months now. She was hoping I would select her as my Luna. She would make a good Luna. She was thoughtful, kind, and people seemed to like her. However, she was a warrior. And I knew the Elders in the Red Pine Pack were hoping I would select a chosen mate who was also of Alpha blood. They were concerned about the welfare of the Pack. The growth of the Pack and the desire to have strong pups. Who else could deliver strong pups but a warrior? Nonetheless I had to play it cautiously, so I didn’t piss off the Elders. They could easily find me a Luna and strongly encourage me to choose her as my chosen mate or else I would lose my Pack. I couldn’t lose my Pack.My father and grandfather had been Alphas to this Pack. It had been handed down to me on my eighteenth birthday ten years ago from my father. My grandfather had since passed but my father played a role
Jenna POVThe week flew by fast. Between studying for my next exam, volunteering at the Pack hospital and the human hospital, I wasn’t sure I had the energy to get ready and attend tonight’s Mid-Summer Ball.Getting ready for the Mid-Summer Ball was usually a fun event. I hosted the girls in my suite, we had hair stylists and make-up artists to get everyone ready for the event. This year our Pack, the Black Crescent Pack, was hosting the Ball so there was increased excitement. We would have all the Packs coming to our territory so there was an increased chance at more of our members finding their mates. My mother, Luna Ashley, had the responsibility of coordinating the decorations, the food and everything else for the evening. She kept everything a surprise and brought in outside help so everyone, including our Omegas, would get to enjoy the event. My father, Alpha Gordon, was proud of all that my mother had done during her time as a Luna. They were hopeful I would find my
Jenna POVAs we were heading over to the hall that was hosting the Mid-Summer Ball, my heel broke. I quickly slipped my shoes off promising the girls I would catch up. Emma offered to come back with me, but I told her not to be silly, she could go ahead. Emma was also hoping to find her mate, although she was reluctant to leave our Pack. I think everyone shares that fear initially until they make the connection. Then they do not care one way or the other. I chuckle wondering what fate will serve me tonight. As I return to my room, I scoot into my closet and grab a pair of black stilettos. After I look at them, I decide they actually compliment my dress better than the original shoes I had on. Smiling at my reflection I turn and get ready to leave my room. As I reach the door, there is a knock. I open the door with a smile that quickly turns to a frown. One of my many suitors is waiting in the doorway looking sharp in his suit. His tie oddly matches my dress. “Hi Jeff,”
