LOGINJOÃO FELIPE
I left the car in the garage and went into the house very irritated.
I was arriving in front of my house when I came across Viviane hugging and kissing an idiot inside a stopped car. She came down quickly after that, with a huge smile, which almost made me walk up to them and say something silly.
It was for these things that I preferred to distance myself. I couldn't bear to watch these scenes and do nothing. I was a controlled person, but the strong feeling I had for that girl made me out of orbit.
I threw the keys onto a sideboard by the living room door with some fury.
" What happened, my son?”
I turned around in surprise to hear my mother's voice, I hadn't seen her when I stormed into the room.
" I got irritated in traffic, silly thing, " I lied.
I would never tell my mother that the reason for my anger was the employee's daughter. I think she would freak out. Just imagine, your firstborn fell in love with Vivi right away. I made a disgusted expression. My mom would freak out, I'm sure.
" Oh, my son. You must not get involved in traffic discussions. That is very dangerous! " Marta said, making an expression of horror and taking her hand to her heart. As always, very dramatic. " Sit here with Mom. She missed you so much, and since you arrived, I hardly see you. What have you been up to? " She questioned curiously.
I could tell the truth, that I had been avoiding a certain person, and that's why I spent most of my time looking for activities outside the house or even locked in my room, but of course, I wouldn't say that.
" I've been meeting up with some college friends, and I've also been going to the company. I need to find out about some issues, after all, I will soon be taking up my post at the head of the presidency of Mendes de Albuquerque" The investment company founded by my father's grandfather had been in the family for three generations and I couldn't have followed another path.
" And truth. As always, doing what we expect from you” she said, all satisfied. " I don't need to repeat myself, but I want to say how proud I am of the son you always were and are! Always responsible and doing what is right.
She got up and gave me a big hug. I loved my mother very much and would never cross her over something as silly as a girl who didn't even suit me. I would find someone to match the Mendes of Albuquerque.
After accepting his hug, we sat down and talked about the company and about some acquaintances. My mother updated me on events in high society in São Paulo, and I listened to her, even if she wasn't there.
Viviane
After the episode at the entrance to the mansion, two days ago, I hadn't seen João Felipe anymore, which was a relief.
I was leaving college much later that day, considering that my classes were in the morning, and it was after 7 p.m., as I had been in the library studying for end-of-semester exams and ended up completely losing track of time.
I took out my cell phone to check the messages and saw that I had several missed calls from João Pedro.
I decided to return immediately, after all, it wasn't common for him to call me so insistently. Usually, he was content to just send me messages and didn't insist on getting back to me right away, since he knew I was away at college. He had turned down her ride earlier today, saying he was going to study at the library.
The cell phone rang several times, and he didn't answer, which ended up pissing me off. I was a little stressed the last few days, I believe it was Felipe's return home. I kept insisting as I walked inside the University campus, looking for a bus stop.
" Hi, my beautiful! " He finally answered.
“Did something happen? Are you okay? Your parents are well?” I said in one breath. Until I remembered the people most important to me. “By the way, are my parents, okay?” I practically screamed, already thinking about the worst.
“Stop being crazy, Vivi! Everyone's fine,” said João Pedro in a bored tone.
“Then why did I have this absurd number of missed calls on my cell phone?” I was upset with his lack of empathy. “Do you want to kill me from the heart?”
“Wow, you walk so dramatically. What's happening to you?” João Pedro questioned, looking suspicious.
I realized that I was making a big fuss over something simple, and I concluded that I was tense. This is all thanks to the return of my best friend's brother. I decided to relax a little and recognized that I needed to apologize for the turmoil.
“Sorry, I'm just worried about the final exams,” I said, a half-truth. “But after all, tell me, what did you want with me?”
“You disappeared all afternoon, I sent you several messages, and you didn't answer. I was just worried. Tell me where you are, and I'll pick you up.”
That is, really nothing serious had happened, thank God.
" I'm still on campus, I ended up losing track of time while studying at the library. But I told you I was going to study here today, I don't understand why you're surprised, because I always do, especially when it's so close to the start of exams. You walk strangely.”
"I didn't think I'd be around this long," he complained, but strangely, sounding a little anxious. " I was waiting for you to call me, so I could pick you up.”
We then agreed that I would wait for him at one of the cafeterias that existed inside the campus and ended the call.
I was sure João wanted to talk to me, and I believed it would be something serious and not just another one of his tantrums. He was acting strange, I could tell by the tone of his voice, and he had been restless for a few days now.
João FelipeI truly believed that nothing else could make me happier than being by Viviane and my daughter's side. I was wrong.Standing here at the altar of the church, watching the woman of my life enter through the central nave accompanied by her father, and my mother with Sarah in her arms, right next to me, the happiness was so great, that I felt my heart fail a beat.Until a few months ago, I firmly believed that happiness consisted of being at an office desk, at the head of a company that moves millions of dollars a month. Today I see how empty the life I was living was because my greatest joy now was to go pick up my wife from her work, to go home after an exhausting day at work and find our little doll, every day smarter, always learning new things.I couldn't explain the size of my happiness when our little one ran up to us, throwing her little arms around our neck and calling me "daddy. It was something extraordinary." You're drooling like a baby, Felipe " Nicolas, who was
VivianeFelipe's words didn't calm me down at all if that was his intention. I was devastated that he found out this way, but I knew it was all my fault since there were so many opportunities for me to tell the truth and yet I chose to continue with that lie.He had erred in everything that had happened before, but he acknowledged his mistakes and I had agreed to give him a second chance. So I should have counted. But now it was no use crying over spilled milk. It was moving on, whatever his decision was after all.Marta entered the room shortly after her son left and I told her everything that had happened. Although I lied to her too, she wasn't upset with me."I feel even a little guilty too, Viviane. For the way, I've always treated her and for raising my son always considers himself better than other people. But things have changed and we're better people now, haven't we?" Your question didn't seem like rhetoric so I stood up and hugged it."They're wonderful people!" I said smili
João FelipeMy heart was tight. My little doll was sick and we didn't know yet what this sudden fever was all about.Everything was so good! She was a very healthy child and since I returned to live in São Paulo, she had never been sick. Not even when she took her vaccines, which nurses always warned about having some kind of reaction, did she get a fever?" What does she have, Doctor? " Viviane anticipated me when the doctor who was accompanying Sarinha entered the room where we were waiting for the result of some tests that were performed."The tests showed only a slight infection. Probably due to tonsillitis identified when I examined it."She approached Sarinha and touched her face briefly, probably to feel the temperature. She was a woman in her fifties and very cordial. He looked at something on a paper in his hand and continued to explain."I'm going to give you an antibiotic to be given at home and you'll be able to take little Sarah Felicity home."Upon hearing Sarinha's midd
VivianeAfter we had a brief snack, they talked about their mutual friends, which many of them I didn't like and didn't even pay much attention to, then. I was nervous that other situations like this might happen again, and I feared that my secret would end up being exposed before I was ready.Despite my fears, several days passed, until Felipe convinced me to take my things to his room in the family mansion. Everyone had already gotten used to the fact that we were a couple, and not even the media talked about it anymore, because as Felipe had predicted, new scandals arose and we were forgotten.João Pedro and I had already filed for divorce and as it was by mutual agreement, quickly the process was concluded and now I am single again. On the same day, we had this news, João Felip
João FelipeI still thought of suggesting that she resign, but I could not even express this thought, because she has already anticipated and reprimanded me vehemently, affirming all the importance of her work. She was right and we enjoyed the time we had and that was the most important thing." The photos of the trip were all so beautiful! " my mother spoke excitedly during our dinner after we arrived from travel. "Sarinha is so photogenic!"" True, Mom, " I confirmed. " I remember when I was in New York, I kept looking at the pictures of Sarah's birthday, I was already in love with my little one."" Did you look at Sarah's pictures? " Viviane asked and only then did I realize that I had said something that I shouldn't, because it would require some explanation from me.
João FelipeI felt that Viviane had not approved of my choice for the restaurant that night, but even at my suggestion to go elsewhere, she remained steadfast in continuing in that environment, which was not to her liking. We already had our dishes in front of us, because the service of the restaurant was excellent, and she just stirred the food, without really taking it to her mouth."You didn't like your request?" I asked once more. "We can ask for something else.""It's wonderful.""How can you know? He hasn't eaten even a spoonful yet of what's in front of you," I said without understanding anything that was going on.Before she could answer, we were surprised
