"Ashley, Anna is here," her mom said as both Ashley and Jake looked at each other. Ashley's blood began to boil at the name of the girl, who betrayed her. Ashley really didn't want to see Anna's face right now, and the fact that her mom still allowed her in here, after Jake told her something happened between them really pisses her off.

Before Ashley could finish her sentence, the knob on her door turned before opening revealing Anna, who looked 10 times as horrible as Ashley. Jake's eyes couldn't help but widen in amazement as he scanned her appearance. She looked like she cried the entire night, plus the hangover was already beginning to take an effect on her.

Jake woke up with Ashley in his arms. His heart softened at the sight of Ashley in his arms, it felt almost natural as if she belonged in his arms. Everything happened so fast, all Ashley felt was a rush of cold air against her body as Jake threw the first blow causing Jay to stumble back. The diner went silent as Ashley stood there in shock. She looked at Jake, who stood there breathing heavily with his fists clenched at the side of him. She turned her head towards Jay, who didn't expect a thing as he gently touched his bruised bottom lip. Ashley immediately stood between the two men just in case anything happened.

The sun had taken over the night as Ashley woke up. A groan left her lips as she slowly sat up. Her head was pounding as she gently ran her hand through her semi damp hair.
