The sun had taken over the night as Ashley woke up. A groan left her lips as she slowly sat up. Her head was pounding as she gently ran her hand through her semi damp hair. Memories of last night ran through her head as her headache got slightly worst. "Ugh! Stupid idiot," she mumbled while getting out of bed. She felt weak but she brushed it off before heading towards the bathroom. After a while, Ashley came out dressed in her morning run outfit, although she felt like crap, she wasn't going to stay in this house with Jake, her mother, and Roger after what happened last night.
Ashley carefully walked down the stairs with her hand firmly gripping the railing. She had a slight wobble in her step as her vision was a bit blur, she felt like someone was continuously beating her in the head.
Her mother came out to call her for breakfast but immediately stopped in her tracks as she watched her zombie-like daughter weakly coming down the stairs, looking like she could f
Ashley woke up as a groan ripped from her throat. Her vision was a blur as she squinted her eyes. "Omg, honey, are you okay?" A faint voice asked as Ashley tried to sit up but a pair of hands gently pushed her shoulders back. "Oh, no, Ash, lay back, my love, " said the voice as Ashley recognize it to be her mother's, "Mom, what happened?" She weakly asked as her vision became clear as she looked at her extremely worried mother "Honey, you passed out, your body was too weak to function on its own so it shut down, it's a good thing Anna was with you, " she said as Ashley furrowed, "Anna?" She asked as her mother nodded, "Yes, Anna was there when you collapse, you don't remember?" She asked as Ashley touched her head."My head is pounding unbearably, " she replied as her mother nodded, "Yeah, that makes sense since I remembered you coming home last night soaking wet, you probably have the flu, " she said caressing Ashley's head as she closed her eyes trying t
The group of guys realized that Jake took off running at full speed, “HEY! COME BACK HERE!” Jay’s brother yelled as they ran after him. Jake’s heart was pounding in his chest as he accelerated his pace. He constantly looked behind him to see if they were still following him and indeed they were. The guys
Ashley, her mom, and Roger were on their way to the hospital. Neither of them said a word and the tense around them was thick and suffocating. Ashley was still silently crying in the back as she could only imagine what Jay’s brother could’ve possibly done for Jake to end up in the hospital. She knew this would’ve happened, but no one listened to her. Katie slightly turned to check on her daughter. She was still very worried ab
As Ashley opened the door, the sight before her made her already weak body weaker. She couldn’t believe the sight in front of her. This wasn’t Jake, she had no idea who this person was, but when he whispered to her, reality smacked her right in the face, “J-Jake!” She weakly stuttered before everything went dark. Ashley’s body hit the floor with a loud thud noting both Roger and Katie’s attention as they rushed to the sound.
Ashely woke up in a different environment and surprisingly her head was skyrocketing, which was good since she got sick. The continuous beeping sound began to annoy Ashley as she tried to reach for her alarm clock but felt nothing but air, Ashley furrowed as she felt nothing before the sound of a high pitched chuckle caught her attention. Ashley slowly opened her eyes as her eyelids squinted trying to adjust to the bright light before fully op
Ashley was in complete horror as she watched Jay place the roses in the vase that was on the available table, "What are you doing here, Jay?" She asked as normal as possible but when Jay turned around with a furrow on his face, her heart skipped a beat, "Tatiana told me that she saw you in the hospital when she came to visit Jake, so I came to visit you," he said mentioning Jake's name with such ease, which angered Ashley."Okay, but Jay, how did you get in here?" She asked watching him circle her bed, "Oh, that was simple," he said as Ashley rolled her eyes, "Let me guess, you came as my boyfriend?" She asked as Jay smiled, "Bingo, princess!" he exclaimed as Ashley furrows, "Why did you lie, Jay?" She asked as Jay furrowed, "I didn't lie, sweetheart, I am your boyfriend," he said as Ashley slowly sat up getting a creepy vibe from Jay, "You're not, Jay, and you never were," she said as Jay's face suddenly went blank scaring the hell out of her, "I could've been, if it wasn't
Ever since the encounter with Jay, Ashley has been really distant. Jake has noticed it and so did Ashley's mother. Katie tried to find out what had happened to Ashely, but her daughter didn't budge and only replied with, "It was nothing, I just had a nightmare that left me paranoid."Katie had left Ashley's situation alone as she realized how uncomfortable Ashley was about the situation. Jake had studied Ashley's attitude as she moved into his room and Ashley never acted this way. Both Ashley and Jake were currently chilling in their room. The room was silent with the only thing being heard was the heart monitor recording their heartbeats. Ashley stared out of the window with a blank expression as Jake stared up at the ceiling. The silence was killing him as he craved for the sound of Ashley's voice. He didn't understand why she was so distant especially in his presence, it bothered him. Jake sighed heavily breaking Ashley out of her trance but she still d
Ashley had finally been discharged from the hospital and Jake was let off as well as he refused to be separated from Ashley. Ashley didn't feel safe at all when Jake was not by her side, so she was relieved that Jake got to come home with her. Katie and Roger were ecstatic that their children were feeling going home. They were currently on their way home.
