Chapter 3

The lazy Sunday sun sat in the blue sky while the atmosphere around us was blazing hot. No wind was present not really helping the situation. The house was pretty lonely since my mom and Roger left to god knows where and Jake was probably asleep since his sudden disappearance last night.

I had Anna over, you know to do some catching up, while we were in the backyard basking in the sun. Anna was sipping lemonade while I was finishing my romance novel. "Hey, Ash," she called out as I hummed in response. "Could we go inside now, I feel like I'm over tanning, " she complained, causing me to chuckle while shutting my book.

"Yeah, sure we can hang out in my room," I said, raising from my seat as she sighs dramatically, causing my eyes to roll. "Oh, that's a good idea, Ash, it's just... wow," a giggle left my lips as I shoved her playfully, earning a giggle from her.

Anna and I made it to my bedroom as she plopped down on my bed stretching her body like a lazy cat causing us to burst out laughing until it was replaced with a disgusted expression. "Ah! R-right there! Ugh! I'm cumming! Don't stop!" Anna made a gagging sound while I shuddered in disgust.

"Girl, you're step-bro is a player," Anna cracked up on the bed while I rolled my eyes trying to ignore those sinful noises. "Honestly, I could care less as long as he stays out of my way," I crossed my arms over my chest as Anna shot me a "are you really?" expression. "What? I'm serious," she nods her head slowly before speaking up again. "You sure you can handle  " Ah! Yes, daddy!" I gasped as I threw the nearest thing at her as she laughed.

"What? I'm just asking, but if you don't mind hearing those things... I see you, Ash," Anna winked at me as I blushed. "You're gross, Anna, I'm gonna use the bathroom, "  I left my room still hearing Anna's giggles. I made my way to the upstairs bathroom just minding my business until I reached in front of the door. As I was about to open the door I felt one of my eyelashes poke my right eyeball causing me to rub my eye while opening the door.

The moment I realized what was actually happening I gasped. There was Jake, standing there facing me half-naked with a towel wrapped loosely around his hips showing off his deep v-line.

"Don't stare at it, Ashley!" I thought to myself as I shamelessly examined his perfectly, toned, muscular, tattooed body. I was sightseeing so much that I didn't notice the mischievous smirk on his lips as his towel slipped off his waist gently hitting the tiled floor. My blood went cold and I felt like I couldn't breathe. This was something very new to me, call me whatever but this was the first time I've seen a male reproductive organ or as women nowadays call it 'a dick' in person, and to be honest I'm a little intrigued by his.

"You know it's very rude to stare, little sis," his voice managed to snap me out of my trance as my eyes immediately widened. I quickly turned around to leave but was stopped by a grip that firmly held my wrist. Saliva forced their way down my dry throat as I slowly turned my face towards Jake who was inches away from my face causing my breath to hitch.

"Don't worry, baby girl, I don't bite," he whispered as his breath fanned my lips. "You know, Ashely, if you weren't my step-sister, I'd be down to hook up," he said as his hand came up to caress my face. "Don't you agree?" He asked, running his thumb across my lower lip. "I bet these lips taste so good," Jake complimented as he licked his lips almost touching mine with his wet tongue. "Would you like me to taste your lips, Ashely?" He asked as I stared down at his lips. "I-I-

"You what, Ashely?" He asked, stepping even closer to my body. "I suggest you step away from me before this knee causes some damage," I whispered slightly grazing my knee on the inside of his thigh causing him to immediately step back with his palms in front of his chest as he chuckled.

"You got me, Ashely, I actually thought you were one of those girls who would turn red out of embarrassment or shyness and then run away," he said before picking up his towel to wrap around his waist. 'Trust me, I wanted to run away so bad' I thought, clearing my throat. "I thought we agreed," I said, crossing my arms as he raised an eyebrow before shrugging his shoulders. "I think I rather tease you, it's more fun," he said before flashing a pearl white smile causing my stomach to turn.

Excuse me, but I don't have time for your foolish games, that's not what you are here for," I said as he raised both eyebrows in amusement. "And why exactly am I here, Ashely?" He asked almost challenging me which was slowly pissing me off and before I could even think about what to say, I just said the first thing that came to my head.

"It's because your mother didn't want you so you came running back to daddy, that's why you're here," I said but immediately regretted it as I saw his blank expression. "Jake, I'm so-

"You really want to know why I'm here, Ashely because you seem to mind the wrong business," he said in a cold tone. "Jake, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," I said but was cut off by his stern cold voice. "Quite! It's storytime" he said as his voice came out scary causing chills to run down my spine.

"Once upon a time, I had a family, we were happy, until my father decided to be unfaithful and cheat on my mother, she devastated and soon become depressed resulting to her doing drugs, I, on the other hand, changed from being the good boy, straight-A student to a monster my father created, my mom a few months again decided to go clean and take care of herself resulting in me showing up at daddy and his hoe's door," he said before he smiled bitterly.

"The end, how did you like the story?" He asked as my jaw dropped. "What did you just call my mother?" I asked gritting through my teeth as he smirked. "Come on, Ashely, I think that's the best word to describe her- oh no, maybe that's too harsh, how about a home wreck, that sounds better," he said as his smirk widened. "Take that back, Jake, you know nothing," I said on the verge of tears as my anger started consuming me. "I can't take back the truth, Ashely, but I have a question, where was your father whe-

"SHUT UP! DON'T BRING MY FATHER INTO THIS...YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL YOURS IS STILL ALIVE," I shouted as he finally crossed the line. I stared at his blurred figure as my tears clouded my vision.

I heard him sighed before my vision cleared letting me see how his expression softened a bit before it turned blank again.

"That doesn't change the fact that your mother destroyed my family," he said before walking past me to only stop by the door frame. "And I'm sorry for your loss," he said before leaving me alone in the bathroom.

I slowly sunk into the flood as I held my legs up to my chest letting my tears fall.

"Why did you have to go, dad, things would have been different if you didn't have to go,"
