REBECCA'S POV

The air felt still, my eyes simmered with anticipation.

If there was one thing I knew about my cheating ex-husband, it was that his pride was hard as a rock. He would never beg, and that was exactly what made everything even more fun.

Felix Sterling on his knees for a woman? I didn’t think that was ever going to be possible. But even if it wasn’t, I was going to make it happen.

“Rebecca, do you really know what you’re asking?” His voice choked slightly, his fists gripped tightly together. “Are you sure you want to do this?”

I shrugged, and then I smirked. I walked past him slowly, my heels drumming against the floor like I was sounding the war drums.

“You think I would be doing this if I wasn’t sure?” A soft chuckle rippled from my throat, my fingernails drilling through the edge of the table.

“Felix Sterling, the great CEO of Sterling Fashion House. I made you who you are. Without me, your family legacy would’ve died out a long time ago.” I smirked, and then I rolled my

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   Two Can Play Her Game

FELIX'S POVAt first, I thought this was some sort of joke. I thought I knew Rebecca. I figured it was just one of her tantrums after she found out about Anna. The woman I knew would do anything to make me happy. Even if I was the one at fault—which I knew clearly—she would forgive me. She always did.Whenever I got mad at her, she would beg, plead like her life fucking depended on it. So now, why am I the one on my knees? This doesn’t make any fucking sense.Who is Rebecca?Did I ever know her at all?Her soft whistling sent a wave of shiver down my spine, my knees grinding against the floor, and I cupped my fists together. Her head tilted, and her smirk widened... I never knew she could ever look so... hot.“I’m listening... I don’t like people keeping me waiting.”I could not believe Rebecca really planned on humiliating me because she was pissed off that I was with Anna.So petty. And I know—even with her newfound armor—she still wanted me.I mean, why else would she be doing all

REBECCA'S POV"It's locked." Lewis's voice echoed inside my head as we both stared at the door in front of us.Felix had locked his doors? I guess he must have been so scared for his life.Or could it be that he already knew I was here?Well, if he thought a few doors could stop me, then he should dream on."How are we going to get in?" Jessica whispered beside me.I narrowed my eyes at Jessica with a smirk and then turned toward the door."Tear it down."As the words fell to the floor, Lewis and his men sprang into action. The door flung open with a quick bang.Felix jolted. He stopped immediately when he saw me."Knock, knock." I grinned."Rebecca, why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be—""In the hospital." I rolled my eyes. "Why does everyone keep asking me that? But tell me, Felix, are you delighted to see me?"I stepped inside, my heels gently clicking, the line of guards beside me growing even more as we filled the room.Felix's lips parted, and he stepped back. "What is th

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   The Elevator Showdown

REBECCA'S POV"Yes," I said, looking up right at his face. His lips pursed, and then he flashed Lewis a quick look. The poor guy moved back immediately, and then Kendrick scoffed, staring down at me."Alright, that's good to hear."Kendrick shut the umbrella and then turned away. He started walking back inside the house. "Bro, the sun is hot."His shoulders were stiff as he swung the door open. He stopped and then smirked."Why don’t you tell Becca to ask her cutie for an umbrella?" he frowned. The door slammed right in our faces with a thud.Hmm, I'd never seen Kendrick so… well, pissed.I really should do this more often."God, you're an annoying wanker," Jessica yelped, kicking her legs in the air.Another umbrella shielded us, and I gave a curt nod, appreciating Lewis.I arched my brow towards Jessica, my best friend. "The documents. They are already ready, right?""Yes."I took a step forward and my ankle lurched—maybe I moved too quickly. I stumbled, my body swayed, and I grabbe

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   Discussing His Payment

REBECCA'S POV"We can discuss your payment when I leave the hospital. For now, I need something else from you."His smile brightened. "Go on, I’m listening."Rebecca was about to speak but then closed her lips, staring at Kendrick hard."Why are you helping me so much? If you continue this way..." Rebecca looked down at her palm."I don't think my debt will ever be cleared. I'm guessing you don't want money, right?"Kendrick chuckled. "Becca, money is one of the cheapest and most worthless resources to me.""Then what do you want, then?" I shot in, the frustration rising in my throat like bile.I didn’t want to rely on him—but each situation kept proving me otherwise.Maybe I don’t have to do this alone? A wistful thought. From what I’ve gathered, this man is up to something. Could it be that he’s after my wealth? No, that can’t be right. The Reyes are one of the wealthiest families in the city. Still, it was killing me that I couldn’t figure out what he wanted.I felt the sheets shif

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   Hatching Murder and Mayhem

REBECCA'S POVThe first thing I noticed was the clean and unmistakably sterile scent. My eyelids were heavy—too heavy—but I snapped them open.Jessica was resting over the table, and the moment she noticed me, she sprang up from her seat.“Thank the heavens you’re awake. For a second, I thought you weren’t going to make it.” Jessica hugged me, but my attention was fixed on the room.I darted my eyes from side to side, hoping I was going to find a trace of him, but there was none.“Where is Kendrick?” I blurted out before I could even stop myself.“That’s the thing you ask after waking up? Geez, what’s going on between you two?”I didn’t have time for her silly jokes. So I ignored her, resting my back against the bed frame.“Hey, I’m just kidding. Kendrick had to leave for something important. He didn’t tell me though, but I just hope he gets some sleep because he stayed by your side throughout the night.”My heart drummed. “Did he?”Jessica nodded. “It’s surprising, right? My brother

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   Feisty Even In Pain

KENDRICK'S POVHis body dropped to the floor. I stared at the gun resting in my hands.I hadn't even pulled the trigger. What kind of man shoots himself to avoid being cut? That's right—a fucking sociopath.I glanced around. There was no one."Re... Reyes." Rebecca brushed over my neck.I hurriedly tucked the gun over my belt. I wouldn’t want her to be scared. Although the woman I knew wouldn’t actually be—but still. She had been through enough for a day.Her body curled up over mine. "Shh, don’t say anything. You need your strength. I’ll take care of you."Her eyes tilted to mine, and slowly I reached out toward her hair. Her gaze snapped toward my hand and my heart flipped in my chest.I pulled my hand back before she could bite it off."Hold on to me. So I can get you downstairs."Her lips were chapped as she let out an exasperated breath. "Don’t treat me like that."My brows knitted. "Like what?""Like I’m an abandoned stray dog," she hissed, her teeth grinding together. "I fuckin

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   Close Your Eyes, Becca

KENDRICK'S POVCall me crazy, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stay away—especially now that I knew there was a chance, a slight chance—probably something like minus 0.1 percent—that she might finally see me.“Protect her from a distance, watch her from afar”—those were the lies I told myself. But deep down, I always knew I was never a contented bastard.Sooner or later, I was going to want more—everyone does. But with Becca, it wasn’t just a want. It was a need. A craving that settled into my bones and refused to let go.My phone buzzed in my pocket, breaking through the stillness. I tore my eyes away from the hospital building—or more specifically, from the window of her room. Becca's window. The only one that mattered.Lewis’s name flashed across the screen, but I didn’t answer right away. I just stared at the light spilling through the night like a promise I couldn’t reach.I sat there in the back of my limo, engine silent. It was just me and that window. Watching her f

  • Hell Has No Fury: His Ex Wife Revenge   His Touch Came After the Knife

REBECCA’S POVWas this how my life was going to end?In this sterile, dark hospital with no one by my side.My hand tightened as I pressed my lips together, the sound of my heart drumming against my ears so hard it felt like it was about to rip open from my chest. After everything I’ve been through—the hurt, shame, and disgrace—only to be murdered in a hospital. The thud grew a little louder, inching closer. I widened my eyes through the darkness, trying to catch even the faintest sign of light, but there was none...Yet through the darkness, I could make out the figure towering toward me.No matter what happens, I couldn’t die...At least not today.Buzz, Buzz, Buzz.My eyes snapped open when my phone started ringing. The light from my screen flicked on, shimmering straight onto the figure that was already in front of me.Tall, lean, with broad shoulders. A mask was over his face, but his eyes were somehow unique… jade, with a faint glow of brown. His eyes widened, realizing I’d been
