Laura and Kathleen kept the sleeping man company. They sat beside him, Laura held his hand and prayed that his body would heal quickly. Even if she induced his system with her powers of healing, his body wouldn't be able to take the rapid change which would complicate his wellbeing even more.

However, that phrase never seemed to work on Laura for the past two years. Time changed nothing for her. Her emotions were the same as she had them two years back.
