Chapter 3(date?)

Their heads turned around to see the person they least want to see at this time and to their dismay it just happened.

“Sir, Good Morning” Regina got up from her seat and wished the person before her and gave her best seductive smile. But the person in front of her ignored it, walked towards her table collecting the Register book and gave Lily to sign it.

Lily who was gawking at the handsome man received it shyly and signed the register, after signing she placed it before the receptionist and smirked.

The receptionist glared at her, and the person cleared his throat again making all the onlookers to scamper away. He grabbed Lily’s hand and walked towards his office. Lily walked behind him happily like a princess on a march.

The door shut behind them and lily was caged between the big arms of the man and the door behind her. And he slowly dibbed his face on the crook of her neck sending shivers to her.

“Rob, Stop it.. its still morning and we are at work. People are outside and I have to get back to work.” Lily said in-between her short breaths when he started giving pecks on her neck.

“I told you to stay at my house last night. If you had stayed, now you wouldn’t have faced their bullies, and you wouldn’t be coming late” he said straightening himself.

“Ahhh.. I will be bullied even if I come early” saying she tucked his collar. He let out a groaning sound and went to sit on the chair and pulled her on his lap.

“Why do you let them bully you, baby. You wouldn’t let me punish them too, I feel offended seeing you get bullied” saying he sniffed her hair which made her to giggle feeling the tickles of his breath.

“I want to see you every now and then. Why do you keep me waiting for long, move in with me soon” he said and Lily cupped his face,

“I know, I’m sorry for making you wait for long. But I can’t leave Shane alone right, he is still a kid” she said pouting her lips.

“Oh, Baby he is finishing his school in few days and is going to start his college studies. How come he is a kid, he can live by his own. You can visit him and support him financially”

“No, Robert, I told you numerous times. He is all I got other than you and Steve, and I will not leave him alone. If he didn’t help me out at that time You wouldn’t have met me alive”

Robert let out a long breath and tapped her shoulder to calm her down,

“Fine fine, I was just asking you because I want to spend more time with you” he said and Lily got up from his lap when she saw her mobile pinged a message again.

“Ok, I’ll talk with you in the lunch. Steve messaged me of the meeting in few minutes. I’ll go now bye honey” she kissed his cheeks.

“ahhh.. give me a kiss in the lips at least” he groaned and she giggled waving bye at him, leaving hurriedly.

She left the room shutting the door and walking towards a private place for staff of the museum. There some workers were standing for the others to join, Lily ran a little to reach the place.

Steve who heard the click of the shoes turned towards her and shook his head with a sigh. Lily smiled at him sheepishly.

“Ok, Guys since we all are here, we will start talking about today’s work. I heard the public-school students are coming today and I want three best staff of ours to guide them.” He started talking and assigning the staffs for tour guide.

“Public school? Why do you need best staffs for that school its not even the top rating school” one of the staff spoke and Steve raised his eyebrow with an irritated look.

“If you have any problem with the duties, you can meet the HR Admin and change your occupation. And I guess you don’t have to do that if you met with the Director who has asked to schedule in such a way” he said and the others stopped talking letting him to choose two men and a woman, as usual Lily was left out of that.

After a few minutes of meeting about some instructions for the day, Steve dispersed them and everyone went their way to start their work. When Lily was about to leave Steve caught her ears and dragged her to his seat.

“Ahh.. leave my ear.. Steve your hurting” She complained and he left the ear once she was made to sit on the opposite chair.

“Where were you yesterday? I thought you left home early as you told me you got stomach pain while you are leaving” he said sending daggers towards her to which she gulped nervously letting out a nervous laugh.

“I.. I.. Went home visiting a doctor” She said with a nervous smile but was stopped when he gave a serious threatening look.

“Ok.. Fine, I was with Rob on a date. He took me to a restaurant” she said pouting her lips which earned another glare from Steve.

“Date? How could you? You lied to me and went with that Rascal?” he said whispering the last part. Lily glared at him for calling Rob as rascal which he ignored it.

“Hmm, you wouldn’t allow me to go with him if I tell you and that is why I went telling some excuses” hearing that he snorted.

“Wait how did you know” she asked confusedly.

“Shane called me worriedly since you didn’t get home till 11” he said with an angry look to which she gave a nervous smile.

“I.. I.. I thought of leaving early but he insisted of having some drinks and..”

“What... You drank alcohol? Did he misbehave with you? Did you lose your virginity?” He asked numerous questions which made her to roll her eyes at him.

“No, No. I just had a lil sip and that immediately made me to throw up and Rob is not that guy to misbehave, he is a gentleman” she said dreamily which earned another snort from Steve.

“Gentleman my ass… why can’t you see through his character. He is just using you Lily”

“Ahh. I’m just an orphan I don’t have anything for him to use me. I don’t know why? you and Shane is always against me dating Robert” she said with a sad face. Steve sighed and patted her shoulder.

“Shane and I look out for you. We are worried that you will end up getting hurt by that fellow. Listen Lily we both don’t feel good about Robert. If he really cares for you, he will definitely shut the people for bullying you” He said seriously.

“Ahh, He wanted to punish them too but I was the one stopping him you know” she said pouting but he rolled his eyes.

“As if.. Ok Go and start your work. I have things to do” Saying he chased her from the place and She got up glaring at him and walking towards the locker room to keep her things inside.
