Betty sat beside her, and on the table was a piece of paper. Seraphine was thinking hard on how to start the letter.

Seraphine did not have much experience when it came to writing to a letter. Even though she was just four year old, over here, aristocratic children of this age had idea on how to construct a basic letter.

Since she did not want to have a face to face conversation with the man, this was the best option she could stick to. 

Turning to face Betty, she voiced out, "There is no need to greet him or something."

Betty, appearing to be hesitant to that suggestion, vocalised, "That would he considered impolite, Lady Seraphine."

Seraphine held back her urge to scoff and said, "Then, just include asking whether or not he is doing fine. I assume this much will be enough."

Betty nodded her head and started to write the letter.
